This admin is intentionally inundating us with a firehose of chaos. It’s hard to keep track, to stay on top of it all. That is what they want. Your overwhelm is part of their strategy. But you don’t need to fight at every front. Pick your front, pick what you know or love best, and start there.

So I can’t go to bed before I tell Bluesky that one of the ICE agents seen here grabbing Senator Padilla used to be on a cop softball team called The Proud Pigs. For real.

Outrageous. For asking DHS Secretary Kristi Noem a question, Sen. Alex Padilla was forced to his knees, then to the floor, then handcuffed—a violent act of repression from Trump’s authoritarian playbook to try and crush dissent and bulldoze the Constitution.

A few are rising to the occasion. Priztker, Newsom and a few others are leading the way. Padilla is also a fighter. Party leaders must show voters and the world they are unified and won't back down. No more negotiating. No more confirmations. GOP knows how to obstruct. Now it's Dems turn.
