Fuck this shit. Ed’s like a third of a billionaire, himself. He could afgord to buy a fucking backbone.

Stop positioning it as if it’s Ed Sheeran’s issue when it is stadium ghoul Robert Kraft who demanded Macklemore be dropped and organized other stadium owners and promoters to do same.

It’s been 31 years since Richards was governor and 33 years since Bentsen was in senate. It ain’t ALL gerrymandering.

“Texas Government” is not equal to Texas. They are undeserving and maintaining their authority through gerrymandering. Culturally there should be a North Texas and a South Texas. And South Texas is amazing and diverse. But it’s totally cool so many folks want to just get rid of Texans.

Hassett on American consumers: "Credit card spending is through the roof. They're spending more on gasoline, but they're spending more on everything else too."

Just to point out, he is not talking about the United States blowing up dozens of Venezuelan boats in the Caribbean Sea. I know it can be confusing.

Marco Rubio: "Right now you have a country who is unlawfully, criminally, and illegally taking possession of an International waterway and blowing up commercial vessels. I don't know if people appreciate how outrageous this is."

REPUBLICANS: “Jimmy Kimmel was not a free speech issue. It was a private decision.” TRUMP: “I TOLD THEM TO CANCEL THAT SHOW! NOW I’M GONNA TAKE ALL THE FREE SPEECH ABC HAS! NO MORE SAYING WHAT YOU WANT ABOUT ME” REPUBLICANS: “It is ridiculous to imply we are the party of censorship.”

A pre-dog-walk 🧵 on the pandemic. To me, the lesson of the pandemic is a very familiar one, although as far as I can tell, no one is talking about it or learning it (which is also familiar). It's about the contrast between America's two political parties.

It’s a terrible bill. It will literally kill people. The most vulnerable among us will suffer as the wealthiest benefit. It’s perverse. I wish there were something I could do. But alas, I am only a U.S. Senator from Alaska whose “no” vote would kill the bill. So I voted yes. You get it.

This has always been the GOP's strategy: 1) Cut taxes for the wealthy & corporations by claiming they'll pay for themselves. 2) Explode deficits 3) Use the debt as an excuse to demand cuts to vital programs that help millions. 4) Repeat.

Every single Republican president in my lifetime has crashed the goddamn economy and gotten us into the middle of an idiotic, poorly planned war in the Middle East.

I’m often told that atheism is a position of arrogance. Quite often by people who think they have a personal relationship with the creator of the entire universe. Which they call humility.

Nobody saw that coming. Good job, Republican Senators. Party of fucking clowns.
