Every day, every single damn day for the last 500 of them... they crap out a new putrid steaming pile of ignorance, bigotry, arrogance.

RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Nobel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

The reaction Elon Musk had to the destruction of Russian data centers is making it clear one thing- he cares more about his army of sycophantic bots and programs that prop him up than actual human beings. What a disgusting person he is. He truly is the worst of humanity.

If the world truly is controlled by lizard people, then this group is failing miserably in the costume department.

The Kennedy center board of trustees look like theyre about to give Dick Tracy a real hard timeโ€ฆ

If you practice religion, that is fine. If you are too afraid to speak out when those of your religion oppress or hurt others, that is not.

Piper is coming due, and I am in deep trouble. My job was considered decent paying less than 5 years ago. Now, not so much. I reeeeally don't want to give the federal government any of my money right now as dysfunctional as it is. I do not know what I will do if they strong-arm me for payment...

I am so very tired of the constant fearmongering with the conservative elite, for the sake of pandering to the lowest common denominator. Unfortunately, as they say in Pokemon, it's SUPER EFFECTIVE.

Q: How do you define socialism personally? JD VANCE: I think in reality what it actually means in the American context is you want to replace American workers with foreigners workers, and you want boys to play in girls' sports

Another day, another conspirascientist I am told about against my will by my close family. This time it's Jessica Rose, PhD. Granted, she has an intimidatingly impressive array of degrees and experience. Still, there is something... off about the information and how she presents it.

Tech bros really are embracing their comic book villain personas Okay, sure, live your truth girl

If technocrats start trying for a government bailout if and when their AI endeavors fall short, I'm goddamn rioting. I'm old enough to have seen way too many underserved "rescues." I don't want my money going to those bringing so little to the table.

Nice work senator Schmitt, now tripling down on your stupidity. Boy o boy, I cannot wait to vote you and Josh "Ran like a bitchboy from the riot he helped start on Jan 6" Hawley the hell out.

Another recommended person I should listen to from my conservative family- "He brings up some wonderful information about long-term effects of Covid, brought to light so much good information about novel therapies!"

A quick dive into his history shows: -He holds belief the covid vaccine is far more dangerous than the disease itself -Pushed Plaquenil / Ivermectin treatment, even after mounting evidence of ineficacy -Board certifications revoked January 2025 -Sells his own special supplements and treatments

I think there is still a lesson here for me, even though I fall ideologically on the other side. Check your sources carefully before unquestionably believing them, even if they do validate your already pre-conceived opinion.

I learned the harsh lesson last decade that you should vote as often as you possibly can. Ignore the polls and DEFINITELY ignore the speculation from those shady prediction markets. Also, I am not afraid anymore about nagging my Rep/Senators/Governer. They work for US, not the other way around!

Guess I'll play along- I grew up playing Super Nintendo mostly as a kid before picking up PC gaming, so I picked an all SNES lineup for my attempt. Might do a PC one later

A law student at Texas Tech was accused of celebrating Charlie Kirkโ€™s death. The resulting investigation, another student at the school said, was a discredit to โ€œthe one thing that Charlie Kirk stood forโ€”which was free speech.โ€ newyorkermag.visitlink.me/OWIzB2

The Texas Tribune is a nonprofit newsroom, and our journalism is free for everyone to access. That means Texans can read our reporting whether or not they can afford a subscription.

I might delete this later, but I gotta rant. I was shown a video that I actually quoted a line from. He's obviously of a conservative/libertarian persuasion, but I liked some of the points he made. Only today to find out he is chummy with Elon Musk, who even gave this guy his endorsement.-

-How in the hell are you going to say something like in democracy "...billions of dollars should not speak louder than millions of people" when you are pals with the richest human, who is highly suspected of election interference? Ruins any idea that the goal was to have a nuanced discussion.

They'll also throw progressives under the bus when the Big Bullshit Bill starts making cuts to social programs starting after midterms, if democrats take control of congress.
