It's amazing that this is him campaigning FOR In en Paxton

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "So I'm studying him. And I made the mistake of saying that I started off by studying his ass. I just wantasink. And then I looked at his feet & they were massive. I made the mistake of studying his anatomy. Maybe I should do that with Ken Paxton, but I'm not sure your body is gonna qualify."

Unfortunately I've lost all faith in the "decency and compassion" of American voters.

The Bulwark@thebulwark.com

Amy Acton: "I had a pretty rough childhood…My opponent has chosen to exploit, intentionally, this story in a desperate attempt to save his struggling campaign…It's not going to work because decency and compassion still matter to us.”

I don't mind sweet potato pie but even rhubarb pie is better.

Ouranocracy@ouranocracy.bsky.social

The one holiday dish that has truly nothing going for it. it isn’t even the best orange goo pie (sweet potato)

Matthew Hay Brown@matthewhaybrown.bsky.social

“Flávio has given up,” a Bolsonaro family adviser told The Washington Post. “He’s terrified. He is worried his father will die in jail, that he himself will be jailed this week, and that he may have a long prison term ahead”

I don't know where RFK is in this video but I'm sure the thing Mike Rogers needs is the administration doing tired ass racism against the largest Muslim population in the US which just happen to be his constituents.

The Bulwark@thebulwark.com

RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Nobel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

El-Sayed: "My name and my faith are not the reason you can't afford your gas. My name and my faith are not the reason you can't afford your groceries. My name and my faith are not the reason you can't see a doctor."

Outside of gas prices, data centers are the one real life issue affecting some rural Republicans and he's just shitting on them.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump on data centers: "I say let them come in ... you should really be cool on data centers because you can make a fortune with the data centers" (Note the total silence of the crowd during this rant!)

It needs to be made very clear that these pardons will be worthless. Legalities be damned.

Jeff Stein@jeffstein.bsky.social

Scoop: White House lawyers are weighing preemptive mass pardons for junior staff, sources says Under discussion: Pardoning everyone involved in deportation, war, or trade policy www.washingtonsun.com/whitehouse/w...

One of the big reasons I want Republicans to get slaughtered in the midterms is so that everyone can see that no, spending record amounts of money will not save a shitty candidate or party...even though I realize this is all basically just gas prices.

CREW@citizensforethics.org

President Trump's super PAC has spent about $277 million to back Republican candidates in the upcoming midterms, a staggering amount of spending "with no parallel in American history."

The fact they ever existed at all is the sign of an unhealthy political environment.

I love the "great asses" added to the guys with tears in their eyes stories. Please keep doing this, everybody.

Steve Witkoff to Putin: You talk so much about my president, President Trump, being a humanitarian. You are a humanitarian also, sir, and I salute that, I commend you, and I thank you again.

He's so far gone that by election day I expect he'll be at one of these rallies and say, "so and so is a great looking guy, I'd have sex with him'.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump on Jon Husted: "He's a good looking guy"

When I lived in Phoenix people without the benefit of the Secret Service would do this and then die of exposure because they wandered into the desert. What I'm saying is take him to the outskirts of Phoenix.

The Clear Cider@theclearcider.bsky.social

Holy schmidt !!! Leaving his Georgia rally, Trump misses the open door to The Beast, then wanders around front confused, as his security panics & redirects him back to his limo. Trump waves it off, hoping no one noticed.

This motherfucker is out here like, "Mike Collins is ALL man (ask me how I know)"

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump on Ossoff: "I don't think he's a good looking man. I actually think Mike Collins is a good looking man. And he's all man. I'm not sure about Ossoff. And I think Rick Jackson is a beautiful-looking guy."

Coworker in the breakroom at lunch: "It's nice and quiet in here just like I like it". Then proceeds to play videos on phone with the sound up. Me;

Zitofication of media about to collapse.

Greg Sargent@gregsargent.bsky.social

Remarkable: Dems are growing optimistic about flipping Mahoning County in Ohio, a major destination for reporters looking for voters in Trump Diners. Dem internal polling shows Trump at minus 11 points in the region, which is a stunning collapse. New piece from me: newrepublic.com/article/2167...

Counterpoint...it's actually not cool at all. It's the lamest shit I've ever seen and it's from a company that should spend that money trying to stop it's cars from killing people.

Alex Hern@hern.bsky.social

do think there's a danger of looking at extremely cool shit like a car driving upside down then doing a kickflip before landing, and convincing yourself it's actually lame because the guy funding it is a white supremacist

Motherfuckers out here, "may the odds ever be in your favor"

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump campaigns for Bernadette Wilson: "It ain't gonna be easy, Bernadette! And then you have that ranked choice voting, which is a phony, rigged deal. So lots of luck, Bernadette."

Paging David Brooks

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "The Republican Party, we believe that Somalia bandits, third-world gangs, and jihadist sympathizers do not belong in Ohio, they do not belong in America. We got to get them the hell out of here." More "De-port! De-port!" chants from the crowd.

Goddamn right

Republicans Against Trumpism@rpsagainsttrump.bsky.social

Steve Bannon warns what’s coming if Democrats win the House: “You’ll see Bobby Kennedy impeached, I think you’ll see Pete Hegseth impeached. I think you’ll see subpoenas flying every day. They will look to destroy President Trump”

These motherfuckers are all about voter ID (as a way to disenfranchise people) but when they carjack you or murder you in the street suddenly it's no ID required.

This post is unavailable.

If this happened in Texas or Florida instead of New York they may very well have been shot themselves. And regardless of how you feel about lax gun laws in those states, they would have deserved it as self defense.

I know it's hopium but Trump will be in Tennessee for the second time in about three weeks tomorrow. He's not coming here because he enjoys it. How bad is the polling for Marsh Blackburn?

The president is different than a streamer in California..."I'm not sure if that's clear to you". Yes. Call Republicans Nazis and ridicule the press to their faces for these stupid questions.

The Tennessee Holler @thetnholler.bsky.social

REPORTER: “Why does Mike Rogers have to answer for Trump and you don’t have to answer for Hasan Piker?” 🤡 @abdulelsayed.bsky.social : “Is that a serious question? Donald Trump is the president of the United States.”

I forgot Daniel Dale existed because he so utterly failed at his schtick. Half the country doesn't want the truth about anything and the other half have no interest in parsing the words of a sick, demented fascist who's doing everything he can to make sure the country goes down with him.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

It’s really remarkable to me that 10 years into this people feel compelled to “clarify” Trump’s homicidal and often genocidal fantasies. It is deranged for the president to daydream about American cities in states he hates getting blown up. Full stop.

This is what concerns me in 2028 if Dems sweep Congress in November.

Grizwald@grizwald.bsky.social

I'll be upfront that I don't follow Brazilian politics, but if I had to guess it's the age-old story that if the good guys don't fix the things the electorate considers broken, they'll give the bad guys a shot at it. There is a moral duty on the left to solve the electorate's problems.

Kids in the Hall is great but The State was the more memorable one for me. Captain Monterey Jack, Levon and Barry, Kid with sandwiches for feet.

Everyone involved in this process — including the Palantir employees — have to be investigated and probably go to jail.

Dhruv Mehrotra@dmehro.bsky.social

NEW: DHS agents tracked people observing ICE arrests, photographed them, ran their plates, pulled personal information, and added them to a Palantir database, according to newly unsealed court filings. w/ @regret.bsky.social

Just feels like if you panned out to show the crowd it's a half full high school gymnasium.

The Bulwark@thebulwark.com

Trump in Alabama talking about Talarico: "He's a VAGEN. And all of a sudden he's going to barbecues, but what they don't show you is that after every barbecue he walks to the back of a tent and he throws up…He likes lettuce. Give him a little piece of lettuce, he's happy."

Again, you don't hate these people enough.

Christopher Mathias@letsgomathias.bsky.social

New: Chris Rufo & his co-host devoted a podcast to "The Indian Question," framing Desi people as a problem to be solved. Their "solution?" Mass expulsion. For those allowed to remain: an “assimilation hazing process” w/ instances of “vulgar, defamatory racism" talkingpointsmemo.com/news/chris-r...

A couple years ago I wanted to watch Bridge on the River Kwai and I asked my wife if she would mind and started explaining the movie and she stopped me and said, "do you not think I know what Bridge the River Kwai is about" and I knew I married the right person.

No matter how much you hate these people it's not enough.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

"He's gonna fix it. Believe in him ... all the abortion, it's evil ... I want to see 2 people -- Trump & Jesus...we do not want Muslims taking over...I have horrible thoughts. I don't think they should be here. This isn't their country...they need to pack up & go back where they came from."
