when critics of bari weiss say that she is not a journalist, we mean that literally. she does not respect or even appear to understand the values of the profession. everything for her is propaganda. www.semafor.com/article/10/1...
If there’s one thing I learned as a newsroom manager, it’s never get angry in a staff meeting. Everyone talks. CBS News should hire managers who know basic shit like this.
Scoop: I obtained audio of an explosive meeting in which Bari Weiss' handpicked foreign editor unleashed in a tirade against her journalists, in which she defended her decisions and warned that "insubordination" is "legal grounds for firing." Details in @status.news: www.status.news/p/bari-weiss...

Imagine Jeff Bezos spending this money on something useful, like journalism. www.wsj.com/business/jef...
This assumes Jeff Bezos cares what happens to The Post. He does not. He cares what happens to Blue Origin and Amazon.
Trump says he's also looking at banning the Washington Post, calling it a "crummy paper" and "disgusting." Anyway, good job, Jeff Bezos! It obviously was worth losing all those scubsribers and turning your opinion section into MAGA-lite, only for the president to continue to call you "fake news."
