Let me get this straight: trans women are men who transitioned to have some unbelievable advantage in women’s sports, but 🍊🐖 doesn’t think they can lift weights. Do I have this right?
Trump’s tired impression—which appears to depict a trans woman struggling to lift weights—is grating on all of us www.jezebel.com/her-husbands...

Next time someone tries to assassinate tge 🍊🐖, I hope they aim for his dick and nuts first, so then he will have that horror for the rest of his life even if the shooter misses the kill. It’s probably the only thing which could cause him the kind of pain he’s forcing on so many people. Awful man.
President Trump mused that he could rebrand either the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean, following his efforts to change the names of the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Ontario. “We call it ‘Trump Ocean’ or, or, ‘Ocean of the Americas,’ something like that,” Trump said.

A friend of mine paid for a tour guide when he had an exhibit of his work at the Smithsonian Museum if Natural History and brought members of his family to town. He invited me to go along for the ride. Great fun and we went places I had never been after 10 years living there as a photojournalist.
Apropos of this: if you’ve never read Philip Roth’s “The Plot Against America,” there’s a DC tour guide, Mr Taylor, who for me is one of the most indelible and quietly heroic characters in modern literature.
This is false designation of origin and forgery. I hope the cartoonists named sue their asses off.
ChatGPT is adding the signatures of real New Yorker cartoonists to its AI-generated images. So far, I've found the signatures of more than 15 contributors. "It’s slop, and unlike the other slop that I’ve encountered, this is slop that’s pretending to be me." www.niemanlab.org/2026/10/chat...
I oppose making Daylight Savings Time permanent. It saves nothing. I have no objection to Standard Time being permanent 365 days a year. I hate the change twice a year.
Trump publicly posted Sen. Tom Cotton’s phone number because Cotton opposes permanent daylight saving time. Apparently the leader of the free world has discovered the political sophistication of “everybody call this guy.” #DaylightSavingTime

I cannot support him for President. He’s selling people out left and right.
Newsom has vetoed a bill that would have prohibited future governors from handing over abortion providers, helpers, and patients to red states for criminal prosecution. The bill also barred extraditions involving transgender care.
He is not a doctor and it is about time people start yelling that at him. Practicing medicine without a license is a criminal offense in most places. The world will be a better place when that stinking ambulatory sack of excrement dies.
Trump said his administration will demand that some childhood vaccines be divided into five doses given six months apart, while offering no scientific evidence for his claim that doing so would sharply reduce autism. #Vaccines
It wasn’t Marvel that had Cap’s shield made, it was Mark Gruenwald. Fabian and others are trying to get credit for Mark out there. And maybe his widow would like the shield returned to her. I know I would.
I posted something on FB this morning and just want to clarify that I'm not calling anyone out, not "demanding" or asking for the "return" of anything, just trying to set the record straight and give credit to a friend who isn't around to take the credit he deserves. tinyurl.com/2fn5umsp

The Constitution says “all persons.” Republicans do not care about the law at all.
NEW: The Trump administration proposed a set of changes to the 2030 census this week that would exclude non-U.S. citizens from the population count. The changes would directly impact how House of Representatives seats are apportioned among the states as well as Electoral College votes.
