Hitting a man repeatedly on the head with a bottle, then throwing in a few punches for good measure, and doing this with a previous history of violence. Guilty. Walk free and sign a few autographs on the way out for fans who are there to support you because you're a singer. You cunt.

I've seen a few posts about today being the anniversary of the beginning of the battle of Trafalgar. What I don't get is how are they so certain it started at exactly five past six?

English fella on TV. Subject (he chose) sport. Name cities that have hosted football world cup finals? Dublin or London. He had no idea & guessed London. When the obvious about 1966 was pointed out he said those bloody words "before my time". Hitler was before my time but I know he was a cunt

I like finding really obscure and tenuous tlinks to bands/singers I like with places I know. Today I realised something that fits the bill that links The Rolling Stones to Woking (where I was born).

I knew that the cake on the cover of The Rolling Stones "Let It Bleed" album was made by Delia "Let's be avin' you" Smith. But I never knew she was born in Woking. That's a proper link. Happy with that.

The Goldhawk is the stuff of top tier 60s mod legend. Home to the Action and The Who, it’s not really changed much. Always wanted to go inside so this is hugely exciting news all round. Tickets for the 100 Faces tomorrow.

I was going to send this to you @theacousticeggbox.bsky.social as I thought you'd be into it. I didn't send it because I'm a thick old bollix and I forgot. So - if you've not heard this version before - enjoy it Ian.

Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On" has to be one of the finest songs ever recorded. You don't mess with perfection right? Check out the original "Detroit Mix". The differences are subtle, but bloody hell - how good is this... www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFBg...

I've spent the day wallowing in the heady nostalgia of Snap! It reminded me that the messaging in 20 year old Weller's lyrics is timeless. Pick a song, almost any song from the tracklist and it's as relevant today as it was. Even Bruce's News Of The World flipped to Twitter or Smithers-Jones

Hiii. I got made redundant over summer and job-hunting is SLOW so I'm very available for freelance work! Over the last 15-20 years I've done a tonne of podcasts, streams, video interviews, photos, written articles/reviews, and drone stuff. Proof that I don't suck: www.midnightcereal.com Thanks!

midnightcereal.comPortfolio | Midnight CerealHere's a showcase of photography and videography produced under the Midnight Cereal banner. Please have a look, but I'll be brutally honest with you: it's mostly photos of Hot Wheels cars.

This horrible bastard at the end of the Star Trek closing credits. He's coming to get you. He is. And he'll suck your soul out of you. The fucker.

9 of England's current 11 are black. English black people. Representing England. On the world stage. Winning 7-0. Up yours Suella.

Just finished reading "Charlie's Good Tonight", the authorised biography on Charlie Watts. I could wax lyrical for ages, but I'm just going to call it an excellent book about a very special gentleman. Congratulations and thank you to author Paul Sexton

To the French man on a boat on the River Seine in 1989, I apologise for vomiting in your hood. I hope you discovered it before you put your hood up.

This duck is gonna mess you up.

Whenever I'm watching an old movie or TV show and there's an animal in it, I announce to the room, "that dog's dead now." I think my wife is gonna leave me

"I don't recognize my country" etc. etc. Bollocks. This is NOT new. These fuckers have been around for decades. Remember the national front? Pakistani, Irish, Gay, Indian, Afro-Caribbean & many others all targets for their festering hatred. I remember seeing NF graffiti all over the place.

"The Bulletproof Bomb", as driven by The Anthill Mob. It featured "machine-gun speed", where machine-guns would fire out of the exhaust to give a power boost. Sometimes they used "get-away power", where they all (except Clyde) add their leg power to the car's speed like Fred Flintstone. Awesome.

Awoken last night by a 'rona26 coughing fit I went downstairs and made this... oddly, not a feverish scribble but a portrait of two 1965 proper mods. On sale Fri (5.30pm) for the Nostrano Lounge community pantry, Staines £16, via my etsy. Freepost. Easy to frame (A4) and I didn't sneeze on it

I reckon there might be people who would read the comment on my little work calendar and say "Bravo" or "Gosh, how profound and wonderful", or some such other virtuous bollocks. I am sure as shit not one of them.

There’s a house near me with flags and various Stop The Boats paraphernalia all over it. Was thinking of parking across the driveway so no-one can get out, because I have legitimate concerns. How long do you reckon until the police would get involved? Would it help if I wore a balaclava?
