Backstitching redo of the trees done!

Progress is being made, but I decided to do some of the backstitching with a split thread. I liked how it looked when it worked, but the fraying and tension issues meant it often didn't. Enter Thread Magic! Worked so nicely I frogged all of these bits and am now redoing.

Kind of a rotten day today, but I did get a good amount of productive stabbing in.

I am told that no one but me will ever see the difference, but that's who I'm stitching for!

Someday I will remember to at least mention the words "cross stitch" on my cross stitch post. Today is not that day.

Farm share from yesterday, which I forgot to post because it has been A Week. Yellow and green peppers, sage, cherry tomatoes, carrots, and many tiny eggplants.

The sage and carrots are (separately) destined for the dehydrator, peppers are going into a stir fry, and tomatoes and eggplant will be roasted with onions and combined with pasta, sausage, and a buttload of cheese.

This month's offering to the office hordes: carrot cookies with orange icing. I have been told they taste like Froot Loops (complimentary).

I can neither confirm nor deny, having never had a Froot Loop. We were allowed one box of sugary cereal a year, as part of our birthday celebration, and I always gravitated towards Lucky Charms.
