He just called the man who is actively helping Iran rack up US casualties a "humanitarian". What wotld did I wake up in this morning?

Ron Filipkowski@ronfilipkowski.bsky.social

Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff to Vladimir Putin today: “You talk so much about Trump being a humanitarian, you are a humanitarian also, sir. And I salute that. I commend you.”

My goodness, this just eats him up.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "The United States of America, represented by me as your president, should have received the Nobel Peace Prize, but didn't. This is an indelible stain on the country of Norway. We will not forget, Norway." (note how tepid the crowd response is to this whining)

If it isn't one thing, it's goddamn another . . .

Angry@angrystaffer.bsky.social

Cool, cool. Lots of reporting that theres a suspected pneumonic plague outbreak in Russia, and several hospitals are under forced quarantine. Obviously, it’s Russia, so accurate information is scarce.

Bibi has almost as much of credibility problem as Trump and just as great a need for his party to come out ahead in the next election.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump says Netanyahu told him that an Israeli plumber took over the controls and saved the Flydubai plane from crashing, but admits "I don't know if it's true, but that's the story I got from Bibi"

omg. Is this going to be his Hail Mary right before the election?

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Q: You described the Iranians you're dealing with as 'crazy.' How do you get a deal done with the counterparts are crazy and irrational? TRUMP: Maybe you blow them up. Maybe you blow them up. We have to make that decision. We blow them up. The time is coming.

There are other forms of justice including him being young enough to actually see his legacy and having to live out the rest of his life as a global laughingstock and pariah. When this is done, NO ONE will acknowledge him. He will be that toxic.

Chris Hayes@chrislhayes.bsky.social

Pretty clear to me there’s a very good case against this man for mass murder, and I’m saying that in as measured a fashion as I can. He’s order the killing of 234 people under no plausible war or legal justification. I am skeptical he will ever face legal accountability for til his but he should.

The acceleration has been breathtaking. His decline is much more rapid than I expected to see. At this rate, he'll be an incoherent, babbling mess before the next Congress is sworn in. Even MAGA will notice it and most likely, be repulsed by it. Hard to believe, but it's already happening.

George Conway ⚖️🇺🇸@gtconway.bsky.social

Exactly. As he becomes more deranged and politically weaker, he will become more desperate and more dangerous.

They aren't going to stop until they can control every last inch of your life, gentlemen.

MeidasTouch@meidastouch.com

NEWS: The Pentagon has announced mandatory low-testosterone screenings for male troops 30 and older, including screening for symptoms such as “reduced libido, loss of spontaneous morning erections, erectile dysfunction,” and other symptoms.

How to say "I'm desperate for a win" without actually winning anything.

MeidasTouch@meidastouch.com

Trump posts about a “new” deal with Greenland and Denmark which appears to be just about exactly the same as our current deal with them, but nobody tell him that.

Angry@angrystaffer.bsky.social

WAPO is reporting that at least four more service members have died in the war in Iran than DOD is publicly acknowledging. CNN is reporting that the US almost seized a Chinese vessel because AI incorrectly identified it as containing Iranian nuclear material. Clown show.

Spitballing here, but how about you come up with your own memorial like The Greatest Liars in History museum so the world never forgets? You'd actually be #1.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Q: But why do you want you name on the memorial for President Kennedy? TRUMP: Because we should be recognized, the Trump administration

Better to keep your mouth shut and let everyone think you're a fool than to open your mouth and prove it.

Emmer says Republicans need to talk more about grocery prices that aren't expensive: "Eggs are at pre-pandemic prices. Ah, beef is at, ah, less than $2 a pound for ground beef ... I think we have a lot to run on."

Those damn details.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

MIKE JOHNSON: Lutnick said the $5k check would come from tariff revenues. Trump thinks of the American people as shareholders in this American dream TAPPER: The tariffs revenue is about $300 billion, not $1.3 trillion, and obviously Americans are paying those revenues. But devil is in the details

Kevin is looking a little rode hard and put up wet these days.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Hassett: "President Trump and I actually think that there isn't a reason right now to raise rates ... it's pretty important for the Fed to just leave things alone ahead of an election to preserve its independence"

I will never try to find commonality with former MAGA who somehow found a way to get their heads out of their asses. They helped cause this because they were in complete support of this happening to someone else. They won't eat at my table and I don't care if they starve.

All he did was BRAG after 9/11. How quickly some forget.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump claims that after 9/11, "I went down, I was building a building in New York, and I went down there very shortly thereafter -- the following day, you couldn't go down the same day -- and we worked long and hard"

First, is this the REAL number? Second, wait until it gets revised downward next month. Third, really?

Angry@angrystaffer.bsky.social

I know it’s a long list, but this might be the dumbest thing Trump has ever tweeted. The Fed would love to be able to lower rates, but Trump’s policies (including the moronic one he announces here) are preventing that from happening.

Little fun fact: the morgue was right next door to the pharmacy. Hardly a day went by during that time that I didnt meet a shadow cart on my way up to one of the floors - usually ICU. And on most days, there was a literal line of undertaker waiting outside the morgue to pick someone up.

I still have days, all these years later, where I think I just heard "the code". And I will mever not appreciate the sound of the little lullaby played when a baby has been born because that was one of thr only positives anyone in that hospital had some days.

Just as it was designed to work.

You paid the 2025 tariffs. The New York Fed put close to 90% of the burden on American firms and consumers. Now the Supreme Court voided them and $166B in refunds is going back to importers. Apple got $2.2B. Walmart is in line for $10B. You get nothing. Watch the full video: youtu.be/cKDaQG_ZQ2U
