I was at work on a call w my BF when the 2nd plane hit & I screamed. When I said there was a 2nd plane, he said to leave work, he was turning around from Fort Lauderdale & would pick up the kids. He said it was terrorism and downtown would not be safe if there were cells in South Florida activating.

We stood in line at a West Palm Beach Red Cross that day. Hours long line, with Domino's & Publix bringing everyone food & water. DT West Palm Beach had basically shut down after the 2nd plane & we were hoping to save lives w our donations. We learned later that day there weren't survivors, too.
