People need to start highlighting that Miller is actually the shadow President and the one calling the shots. When it was Musk who was doing it, it caused a rift between them so big that after he was out, Musk was bashing Trump claiming he is in the Epstein files.

I was back at 26 Federal Plaza today, where an ICE agent violently threw this bereft woman to the ground in front of her kids. She had not touched him. She did not pose any threat. She had to be taken to the hospital. (🎥: Elias Eliahu)

Warren speaks truth.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Elizabeth Warren on people who say Dems needs to tone down their rhetoric: "Oh, please. Why don't you start with the president of the United States? And every ugly meme he's posted and every ugly word."

In the minds of most Americans, we’ve tended to mythologize the Warren Court as most representative of the Supreme Court, when in truth, for most of our history the Court has ruled against minority rights, upheld the power of wealthy white men, and rarely protected the most vulnerable.

Chilling.

Not going to stop thinking about the comment that Trump is sending Confederate armies to occupy Northern cities. How much more is there to say? That’s not a “distraction.” It’s what the white supremacists who tried to secede have wanted for over a century. It’s not a distraction to them at all.

Well, his memory doesn’t go back that far.

Trump says that DC having a week with no homicides was something that happened "for the first time in memory." The last time that happened was March, where there was a 16-day streak without a homicide.

He had the leaders of the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Finland, Ukraine, the EU and NATO in the White House and he made them wait while he went to get instructions from Putin ... For forty minutes?!

I think it’s high time we take back the national narrative. For centuries Americans of all races, genders, religions, and abilities have worked to create a more perfect union, and we should shout from the rooftops that WE are America. Not these idiot white supremacist authoritarians.

Powerful words by London Mayor Sadiq Khan @london.gov.uk in Byline Times on claims of 'lawless London' 👇 "These people can't stand what London represents... They believe a city as diverse & progressive as ours cannot be allowed to thrive. If it does, it makes a mockery of their entire worldview"

This was an attack on a federal institution. An attack BECAUSE it is Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This was domestic terrorism. Why isn’t it getting more press coverage? Some coverage, not enough. Domestic. Terrorism.

Thread on CDC shooting👇... Good morning. Yesterday, after hours of hiding, trying not to make a sound, we stepped outside and saw massive bullet holes in our office windows. Those weren’t random shots. That was a high-powered weapon no civilian should ever own.

FAFO

After the DOGE purge, reality is setting in. It turns out, workers are actually needed. The FAA just announced plans to hire at least 8,900 air traffic controllers. The National Weather Service is bringing on hundreds of new staff, just months after losing more than 500 people.

It's really weird to demand accountability from a NYC mayoral candidate for a deadly NYC shooting rather than the current NYC mayor, an ex-cop who campaigned on a "tough on crime" platform and promptly got indicted for crimes

Elites and institutions have not “collapsed.” They have not “changed their tunes.” They have not “failed.” They are not “cowards.” They were and are simply been focused only on their own self-preservation and profit. Nothing has changed. They simply made a cost benefit analysis, and fascism wins.

Trump’s fascistic fantasies about making his enemies suffer aren’t just a distraction. They’re part of the very real authoritarian project he and his administration have been actively carrying out for the past six months.

When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.

One of the things about JD Vance is that he is completely 100% aware that what he is doing is evil and has made a deliberate, conscious choice to do evil to get power. He’s not self-deluded or dumb. He hasn’t drunk Kool-Aid. He’s decided to do evil for power.
