Centre left flexible voter. Really wouldn't want to have a pint with Nigel Farage. 🇬🇧🇺🇦

REPORTER: “Trump’s popularity is very low, diesel prices are very high, the war he started isn’t going well… is he using you as a scapegoat for his own problems?” ZELENSKY: 🙃🤐 (this is a YES)

These are the hands of 48-year-old Natalia and her 15-year-old daughter Polina. They were recently killed by a russian airstrike in Zaporizhzhia. Rescuers found their bodies beneath the rubble, still holding hands. This is the reality of russia’s war crimes in Ukraine.

This is quite extraordinary. I don't think I have heard a more coherent, articulate and accurate deconstruction & demolition of Nigel Farage's ReformUK, Tory & Restore policy than this. In under 85 seconds! @rafaelbehr.bsky.social is on here folks and worth a follow.

I for one have had enough of people who can barely speak English, living on benefits, ignoring our laws and wearing weird clothes that cover up their faces. So it was disappointing to see a few hundred of them gathered in Dover today.

Absolutely spot on. When I first heard Burnham's Four Horsemen theory I knew he was one of the few who could possibly do something about it.

In his first speech at the despatch box, Andy Burnham says Brexit compounded the UK’s economic damage "and ushered in a decade of slow growth and stalled regeneration”. Now if he really wants growth in every postcode, the £92bn on the table from EU membership offers no better opportunity.

This is incredible. The total lack of awareness as this person takes themselves into public ownership.

Trump supporter: I’m totally against vaccines. Absolutely, 100%. Every single one of them. They’re poison. Jason Selvig: What about Polio vaccine? Trump supporter: There hasn’t been a case of Polio in how many years, since 1960? Jason Selvig: Since the vaccine… Trump supporter: Yeah

Imagine riding a bicycle and being hunted by a killer drone. This isn’t dystopian sci-fi. This is #russianCulture manifesting itself as an “ordinary” russian soldier murders an unarmed civilian and proudly shares the footage online. Now imagine what they don’t post.

The ways in which warfare has changed in the last five years is mind bending.

A pair of Ukrainian Barracuda USVs armed with FPV drones breaks through intense Russian fire, facing three Lancet loitering munitions, two Molniya strike drones and several FPV drones. One Barracuda was destroyed, while the second broke through, successfully struck Russian targets on the coast

But they seemed like such nice, patriotic, community-minded chaps. (Except the ones currently facing murder, child abuse & assault charges, obviously.)

Oxford Clarion@oxfordclarion.bsky.social

Leaders of flag-raising group Raise the Colours Oxfordshire placed trackers on highway workers’ cars to find out their home addresses, the High Court has heard. RTC then attempted to intimidate the highway staff into no longer removing flags by repeating their addresses to them.
