I deeply appreciate @60minutes.bsky.social and @michaeldweiss.bsky.social for their tenacious dedication to exposing this awful story of USG betrayal and cover-up.

My comments this morn on @waytooearly.bsky.social re the Iran talks and signs of diplomacy in face of a massive US military buildup; the importance of IC collection on Iran; and Rubio goes full MAGA in Budapest. Nobody better to talk foreign policy with than @alivitali . Happy Tuesday all. 🙏👊🇺🇸

Long story short, DOD/CIA can't kill the CFT because it is congressionally mandated so they are burying it in bureaucracy to make it go away. This weekend we'll have an extensive interview about this on @theteamhouse.bsky.social with @mpolymer1.bsky.social and "Adam" AKA Patient Zero.

☕️☕️☕️☕️ I’m up! Dodging falling ice from roofs (careful out there people!) heading to the DC studio!!! Best early morning show in 🇺🇸, let’s go!! @alivitali.bsky.social

Thoughtful comments from former CIA Middle East hand @mpolymer1.bsky.social supporting @andy-milburn.bsky.social’s analysis of IDF conduct in Gaza (which predictably is coming under attack on Twitter from those you’d expect to attack it).

Wesley Morgan@wesleymorgan.bsky.social

This is an important, credible, and damning article about the IDF in Gaza by Andy Milburn, a retired US Marine Raider colonel with combat experience from Fallujah and Mosul who maintained close contact with IDF officers during the war (while keeping a low public profile). Read the whole thing.

🔥 Sad to say that the @CrisisRoomPod podcast is coming to a close on Global. To all the listeners in UK and around the world – thanks for a wild ride! We pulled no punches+made news on occasion. I’m up! Heading to the studio soon. No better place to be on a Monday morning, talking foreign policy with the great @alivitali.bsky.social !! ☕️☕️☕️☕️

First, it would be national security malpractice to sit back and do nothing. Cyber at a minimum. Ultimately, I think it all depends on which faction within the administration wins out – essentially it’s about the Vance vs Rubio wings. The isolationists vs the neocons. And who has Trump’s ear last…

This post is unavailable.

There are a number of potentially enormous foreign policy issues breaking all at once, critical junctures- in Iran, Venezuela, Russia/Ukraine, and Gaza. (Do I add Greenland?) I can’t remember a confluence of near or current crises like this in some time...

Ordinarily, it takes great leadership to manage. Yet I worry that this admin doesn’t hav the competence, leadership, experience, personnel to handle all. There is also no consistency in our approach -and what we believe in. Neocon/isolationist/transactional/imperialist/mercantalist….what r we?

My latest, on agent-running

Engelsberg Ideas@engelsbergideas.bsky.social

Agent-running is all about people. The safety of agents – who often treat their case officers as confessional, priest-like figures – is paramount. The art of agent-running | @mpolymer1.bsky.social engelsbergideas.com/notebook/the...

Heading in to DC studio monday morning 7am @msnownews.bsky.social ☕️☕️☕️☕️ ..... more on the IC/SOF raid that nabbed Maduro, policymakers (as is often the case) screwing up great tactical successes with lack of planning for the day after, and maybe a comment or two on the Redsox off season? 😉

On @msnownews.bsky.social 2pm bloc to discuss Venezuela... in particular, the CIA-JSOC fusion (built over the last two decades in the GWOT, but now relevant globally). Plus a bit on almost immediate Trump fumbling of post strike outcomes...it's all about oil, throwing Nobel winners under the bus.
