Plus it’s always worth remembering that wanting a liveable planet, drinkable water, justice and human rights really isn’t that radical. What’s radical is setting fire to everything humanity knows and loves for profit and telling us it’s inevitable.

You should just be able to find your little niche in the world & stay there comfortably if it’s what makes you happy. That’s literally all being human is about. You can tell Final Fantasy XVI is super high fantasy. Slavery, two-tier society, death of the middle class, for-profit wars, colonialist expansion, wealthy elites fighting wars for a power supply even though its use is killing the planet? Absolutely cannot relate to any of that.

One of my pet theories is that bass players are the most important member of any band. They’re the fire-carrier, and a band is only ever as good as their low-end. For supporting evidence, look at the state of Bloc Party post-Gordon Moakes. Ugh.
