This reminds me a lot of flat earthers and creationists (who, not coincidentally, support Trump). Their conspiratorial beliefs are based on one single piece of "evidence" at a time. As soon as you debunk one thing, they move to talking about something else entirely.
The ultimate example of this is that pro-Trump PACs literally ran ads in 2024 directed at American Muslims, telling them Harris would be more pro-Israel, and ALSO ran ads directed at American Jews, telling them Harris would be more anti-Israel. www.aaiusa.org/library/disi...
Say the line, @cameroncorduroy.bsky.social
Leaked video of Joe Mitchell, GOP nominee for IA-02, discussing his penis size and saying, "I don't like fucking white people"
Idiots: "Why do liberals in the US say to vote? We should be out there rioting like France!" France:

(my skull is being crushed by the evil robots from Terminator) technically I'm not getting killed, the machines are just powering their motors in a way that is predicted to end my life according to their training data

Not to completely derail the discussion about the weird right wing obsession with transing Draco Malfoy and thinking it's "anti-woke", but the reply is a reminder that Twitter rots your brain even if you aren't "right-wing". Evidenced by the extremely casual use of the r-slur.
And so a simple gender swap in a story shared by generations, reaching billions worldwide, is becoming an unlikely focal point of the West's next cultural counter-revolution. A rediscovery of love, devotion, family, and a future worth aspiring to. And I'm all for it.
I do find it...interesting...how many people who get mad at offline normies for reading their old Harry Potter books to their kids, or buying a latte at Starbucks, do it by screaming at their bot followers from their blue-check X account, @ PISSBABY69420.
like sure if you want to advertise that you’d rather suck Elon Musk’s toes by going back to X, since you prefer that to doing the absolute bare minimum to resist a genocidal CSAM peddler’s rise to power, you sure are free to do that
Yeah I don't care about the animals. Show us that clock drawing.
Trump: "It's called a coganative [sic] test. It's a very standard test, but very tough. There are few people in this audience that can -- once you get past the first question. They show you a lion, a bear, a giraffe, and a snake and they say, 'Which one is the lion?' Biden was unable to answer that"
I swear this is every conversation about LLM coding assistants on this site lol
"I will not touch anything with ai-generated code" is going to mean, in pretty short order, "I will not touch software" this is just functionally what software development is now and it's only going to accelerate from here

I posted a little while back that no one ever talks about this but I really wonder if people just didn’t see this or store it in their memory
One more thing about the death penalty before going offline. As disgusted as we should be by Trump's bloodlust, we should NOT lose sight of the CENTRAL role of Democrats in upholding, expanding, and enabling this system that seems to horrify so many people right now. It really cannot be said enough.

Excuse me as I break down sobbing at yet another absolute masterpiece from David James Armsby www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Xs-...
There's just no angle where this joke is funny anymore. The polling isn't particularly close for taking the House and the Senate. And I'm sorry but you actually have to be the dumbest person alive to STILL think there can be worse messaging than literally every issue the Republicans are running on.
you know the onion was funnier when they tried to be funny
So much of this is weird behavior. But also not to be lost in this strange diatribe is the explicit hierarchy she places men and women into by projecting this "fallen men" opinion in regards to trans women. She sees men as being above women and a desire to transition as a fall from this higher state

I think first that he must come up with a decent argument in the first place for me to even take him seriously enough to care to counterargument.
I'd think if Yud was wrong about AI being a potential threat, *someone* would be able to construct an actually decent counterargument against him This "what a weirdo", "haha so dumb" shit would obvs exist either way, but there would *also* be, like, somebody who could formulate a coherent rebuttal
Not gonna lie, it's not often that I see a "this will get me canceled" that may actually end up getting them canceled.
Now when I skinned a dozen people alive to make a 100% authentic Leatherface outfit prior to going on a rampage at a summer camp, that may have been an atrocity. But! Have you considered that I was watching a genocide in progress? So frankly, obvious-final-girl, you should really put that gun down.
My theory on this particular bugaboo is that the people who are saying it are generally millennials who hadn't yet entered the workforce. Like me. The GFC, if you were in college, was a time of cheap stuff while businesses were cutting prices to attract any spending. It was a time of low rent
If you say "The economy is far better than 2008" people do not parse that as an objective claim to be assessed. They see it as you announcing your support for the powers-that-be -- some unholy amalgamation of centrist Democrats and now, the Trump administration as well.
because everyone was upside down on their mortgages. If you bought a house in the aftermath of the GFC, you likely bought it for less than the seller originally bought it for. Once we got out of college, our entry level asses were more desirable at half the salary of the senior level people who lost
