A House panel is holding a hearing on a proposed ban on Congressional stock trading. This ban is long overdue. Why should members of Congress be able to use privileged information to make money on the stock market, while they’re supposed to be working for you?

Texas gerrymandering is about racism. Fewer districts for Black and Brown communities. More power for white Texans. It’s voter suppression by design, and it fuels voter apathy by making people feel like their voices don’t matter. That’s the point.

This is as good an example of our new reality as you can find. We now live in a "heads we win and tails you lose political reality. Also white is now black, left is right and down is up. Thank you Fox News, Newt and Mitch McConnell.

The worthless members of the House of Representatives have started their summer break. House members work approximately 123 days a year. They make $174,000.00 a year. That means they make $1,414.63 for each day they work. The average American works 260 days and makes $66,622.00. That is $254.7 a day

Breaking from the Office of Pres. Obama: "Our office does not normally dignify the constant nonsense and misinformation flowing out of this White House with a response. But these claims are outrageous enough to merit one. These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a weak attempt at distraction.

I don't understand how some folks are unable to see that the illegal disappearing of people is a class issue. The wealthy and well-connected get due process. The rest of us don't. This is part of the oligarchy, not a distraction from it.

Agreed 💯 The leader of the formerly free world is a psychopath. He thinks a nuclear war is an option.

A plea. Can we stop declaring this a “constitutional crisis?” It’s bigger. It’s a crisis about fundamental American ideals and structures. “Constitutional crisis” makes it sound like an abstract lawyerly crisis It’s bigger.

In my limited expertise as the Mom of two living the spectrum - what an offensive, ignorant, arrogant, ill-informed fool - RFK and all who voted for him are responsible for giving him this spotlight. Autistic people are the kindest and smartest people I have ever met. Cruel fool.

Autism is not a disease and these kids are not damaged, despite what HHS Secretary Kennedy says.
