Hold the fuck on — the Department of Government Efficiency, the entity which claims its mission is to end “wasteful spending”, was given SEVEN MILLION TAXPAYER DOLLARS to cover its “expenses” in the span of a single week?!?! Are you fucking kidding me?!?

they are mostly targeting black employees so this is quite literally just a repeat of woodrow wilson’s segregationist purge of the federal government

Federal health workers are expressing fear and alarm after a website called “DEI Watch List” published the photos, names and public information of a number of workers across health agencies, describing them as “targets.”

So, Convict Don wants to “re-home” those “unlucky” Palestinians and turn Gaza into the next Dubai. Do I have that about right? (AND, he’s got Dodgy and the Tech Boys to push buttons over at the Treasury to pay for it! So Efficient! But wait, pay for work done on your behalf? Why start now…)

This is exactly what we want to see from Democrats right now! There’s no excuse for Senate Democrats to be confirming any of Trump’s nominees while MAGA’s illegal power grab continues. If you’re represented by Sen. @schatz.bsky.social, be sure to thank him for fighting back against President Musk.

wsj.comExclusive | Democratic Senator Says He Will Stall Trump Nominees Until USAID Is BackThe move would require Senate Majority Leader John Thune to use precious floor time to advance the president’s nominees through the confirmation process.

HELL YEAH. We need to see Dems fighting like this. If you're a Hawaiian, give your senator some love.

Irony is dead in this moment along with common sense. Trump who squawked “but her emails” incessantly, let Musk (unelected/not a govt employee) send his crew of kids in to review classified information & plug devices of unknown origin into the government computer system, compromising everything.

if I understand American politics correctly, progressivism is something that requires 60 senate votes to work, while national conservatism doesn’t require any votes at all

On his second day in office, Trump summarily fired every member of the Aviation Security Advisory Committee as part of dismembering the Department of Homeland Security. Maybe it was just more convenient to blame DEI without any evidence.

Dems can: -oppose all Trump nominees until this EO is withdrawn -deny unanimous consent to slow senate proceedings -vote no on all cloture -force quorum calls at every chance It’s a constitutional crisis. There is absolutely no reason the Senate should be connecting business as usual.

So it's dangerous for China to have the ability to access our data and manipulate us via social media apps. But it's okay for America's billionaires to have the ability to access our data and manipulate us via social media apps. Do I have this right?
