oh well, i found it after a few hours edge_function returns a float and i was assigning it to an int (first i thought it was some kind of float imprecision type of shit, but it was too large lol) and why i didn't have compiler warnings to avoid this kind of problems...

yeah, forgot it overflows and renders a black triangle

hm, let's revive this account i abandoned this account for some time, idk why, probably nobody noticed this lmao, but it doesn't matter anyway i'm dabbling now with a 3D software renderer, which is a very cool and fun thing to do, my plan is to use it to make a game with a simple cool artstyle

Adding the hub room. Characters will appear here depends on conditions to chat. And orb collector always will be here to get your collectibles and reveal some information. Will probably work on visuals a of the room a bit more later. #indiedev #gamedev #oloo

this is a good reminder of how things that are shitty but have been accepted as normal and inevitable can actually turn out to be abnormal and evitable with some science, time, education and political will

From my experience, I've never had problems with mobile games because I've never found them interesting. Their simple mechanics are boring, not to mention how inconvenient mobile gaming can be. I've always preferred reading something or just staring at the wall. However, social media hooked me...

It's minor, but I've removed all games from my phone (aside from board game arena, but that's play and wait), and I find I'm reading a lot more.

Okay, so I have to do something, right? But while doing it, I end up doing a lot of different things. For example, I'll be writing something and suddenly catch myself checking random distances on google maps. Or instead of going to sleep, I end up reading random things on wikipedia. What the fuck?

I’ve just played two hours of Outer Wilds. Before I started playing, it didn’t appeal to me. I couldn’t see why people think it is so special. But now I get it...

So, I'm working on the visual side of my game, and I have no idea how to make the road curve in a tilemap-based world. I've just made those diagonal tiles, and I think they look decent (better than jagged road tiles), but a new problem has arisen. I cannot place tires evenly...

engineeringdotnet.blogspot.com/2010/04/simp... I had problems with the satisfying controls in the 2D car controller in my game. Somewhere I've found a link to this article and it really helped me. It's a simple method, yet effective. I feel dumb that I didn't figure it out by myself.
