Someone shot Charlie Kirk at a university event www.deseret.com/utah/2025/09...

The thing is. The more political power conservatives get, the more mask off and vocally angry they get that they have absolutely no sway on the culture of his country.

Matt Binder@mattbinder.bsky.social

way funnier than the conservatives who hated Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl halftime show are the conservatives who thought he was doing the ultimate patriotic ode to America

Instagram is starting to feel like how Twitter felt under Elon when it was called Twitter, slowly creeping towards being overrun by far right moronic bots.

The egg price lowering guy didn't lower the price of eggs and instead brought fascism? How strange

Katie Mack@astrokatie.com

The price of eggs in the US is spiking, mostly due to #H5N1 bird flu. Solving the problem requires urgent, important communications from the CDC & FDA* and rapid development of research by the NIH** * Currently paused by Executive Order ** Grant reviews now all canceled www.kcur.org/news/2025-01...

Pin this, save it, weโ€™ll need it. โ€œWhen a prison camp opens in your townโ€ฆwhen a DREAMer is disappeared from your classroomโ€ฆwhen the President destroys whatโ€™s left of the Constitutionโ€ฆThey will all say they didnโ€™t know this was coming. And I want the American people to know that they did.โ€ AOC ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸŽฏ

Nothing can make me hate this man. He's genuinely been a great president. Unfortunately, the ones who've benefited the most were lied to and brainwashed about this administration and hate the people who helped them.

The Washington Post@washingtonpost.com

The Biden administration moved Friday to negotiate the prices Medicare pays for the blockbuster weight-loss drugs Ozempic and Wegovy, medications costing the massive government health program billions of dollars a year.

How did this ever become normal? The alerts for a falling democracy have been blaring for 4 years, and we decide to reelect the guy who caused the alerts to blare.

Joe Walsh@walshfreedom.bsky.social

Trumpโ€™s pick for the top law enforcement officer in the country once again refuses to say that Joe Biden won the 2020 election. She wonโ€™t say it. Yes, itโ€™s pathetic. But, damnโ€ฆit should be disqualifying.

When arguing with a conservative, just ask them to define the terms they are using. It's a surefire way of forcing them to crash out or fumble entirely. They are likely literally just less informed and/or educated on what the topic is.

Everything other than actually wanting to help the people. These next 4 years are going to be brutal.

WIRED@wired.com

Rather than months without rain or the effects of climate change, figures like Elon Musk and Donald Trump Jr. are pointing to a familiar scapegoat as entire neighborhoods burn.

Leftists blaming liberals for Trump? Classic, it's everyone's fault but my own mentality rot.

Spookably UnAwake@lamentablyawake.bsky.social

Let's be clear, if liberals genuinely thought anti-genocide people were essential to Harris winning they'd be mad at Harris (and themselves) for alienating those voters. Instead the vitriol and blame being heaped on anti-genocide people is due to liberals wanting to de-legitimise opposing genocide.

>Trump wins >Leftists still make liberals the enemy for some reason.

pinko cane@neuropantser.bsky.social

liberals are too ideologically castrated to actually do anything ever. they launder their violence thru their fascist institutions and allies while they passively bear witness. they shriek and cry about 1/6 bc it's their only governing partner and domestic ally biting the hand that feeds. bad dog.

The bar is in the last layer of hell, it really is. We could go to a maximum security prison and find a few people more deserving of the presidency, because atleast there's probably a few innocent people.

Krassensteins@krassenstein.bsky.social

Last time I checked, I wasn't polled and the election isn't suitable because Trump didn't receive >50% of the votes... Why is the judge pulling this from his ass to skirt around justice? This is absurd, his reasoning for not delivering justice is asinine.

The most hilarious thing about this is that it looks like they are pointing out an inconsistency, when you get the poster's beliefs by just flipping them. Still inconsistent lmao.

I hate this talking point "Run the country like a business" On its face it doesn't work, because the country should be ran. As a country, it's 'fiduciary duty' is to care for the people. When Trump says it, it's even crazier, he ran massive budget deficits when the econ was doing fine!

The thing I LOVE(D) about platforms like Bluesky and the other place is if you use it for a while and engage a lot, people can see exactly how you stand on issues and if you are consistent. Making your opinions and takes easily available. As someone who takes accountability seriously, I love this..

Lee Jae-myung, Leader of South Korea's Democratic Party, live-streamed himself scaling the walls of the National Assembly to bypass military barricades so that he could vote to overturn the President's martial law.

Thank fuck it's ending, shit show runs out of gas.

If you still have a Twitter or threads account, start encouraging more people to join Blue Sky, especially if you are European. Twitter (X) is being used to manipulate elections globally and suppress information. Post at least once a day, encouraging others to join. #bluesky

With enough money, power, and influence, you too can avoid going to jail for crimes you committed no matter how obvious with this ONE simple trick!

I guess I depart from left wing views on the topic of AI. The architecture itself makes it unique, it quite literally learns, and no, it's not "built for the purpose of deskilling, disempowering artists". It's technological innovation, the main criticism I think is valid is the energy consumption.

Really excited to listen to the new Kendrick album. Iโ€™m waiting until I have the space and attention to listen to it all the way through uninterrupted, and give it the respect it deserves. Hopefully tomorrow

I think it's hilarious that both "if you post outside of the acceptable perspective, they are very toxic" and "Bluesky is a platform grooming kids to be trans". Making a critique, and then doing that same exact thing.

All of the worst people seem to hate Bluesky.
