No. I mean specifically in my case I have been personally warned to use only government approved materials and to make no other comments or promotional statements on social media as per Australian regulations. It does not mean I am against vaccines.

Or.. put it another way… Dumped into the *Mild™️* dirty air soup with no protection at all. Well done. 🤡

I’m more concerned about the megaphone in their hands, than the words out of their mouths. (Apply to all racist ignorant loud people…)

Human neural stem cells are highly vulnerable to SARS-CoV-2, including Omicron. Researchers found blocking one entry pathway cut viral entry by 75–85%. Maternal infection may disrupt fetal brain development, risking long-term cognitive or behavioural issues. Monitoring exposed kids is critical.

I absolutely love that yet again I was not the only masked attendee at a meeting yesterday… last time they saw me and put a mask on. This time they came wearing a mask already. I’m happy to see their confidence with wearing one has been boosted.

The thing is… there is a difference between chicken farms and mink farms when it comes to the decision to cull. Highly pathogenic bird flu is deadly to *birds* and *some* mammals may survive and get immunity… SO

it’s important to take that into account when making the decision to cull or not. HOWEVER two things. 1) H5N1 does produce severe disease and large numbers of losses in mink, so it is humane to cull… and

2) any farm not culling animals needs to be under the DIRECT SUPERVISION of public health disease control specialists. Use of airborne protections by experienced veterinary specialists and development of vaccines to protect people and animals. NOT

I swear… off the BAT??? 💀💀💀🤣🤡

12/ The farm's owner, Chad Fenn, told us that talking with state officials had also made him less worried about any kind of spread, too. “Right off the bat, the state people we reported to, they said you don’t need to worry too much,” he said.

11/ When she sought guidance from USDA officials, they said they did not regulate mink, or have a vaccine approved for them, Price said. No one at USDA flagged mink depopulation as an important step for public health, and no one from CDC reached out to her, either, she said.

I’m dying now… “Never set foot…”

ProPublica@propublica.org

7/ Price also told us she has never set foot on the property. "They're a very private bunch," she said. So last Saturday, we tracked down two of the farm’s workers ourselves. One had a visibly red eye — a symptom present in over 90% of bird flu cases in humans.

In this movie this would be patient zero…

13/ “My guys wear masks every day. They have glasses they can wear,” Fenn said. “Me? I don’t wear it at all. Never have, never will, because I’ve been doing it for 40 years.” Read the full story:

Bahahahahahahaha OMG again.

ProPublica@propublica.org

8/ After ProPublica reached out to the farm, its owner, Chad Fenn, contacted the county health department. He told ProPublica the worker’s red eye had cleared up by Monday, that it was due to dust in his eye, and that the department didn’t recommend testing.

Bahahahaha OMG.

3/ Utah officials learned in mid-August of the outbreak at C&T Fenn Farms, a fur farm west of Provo. Had poultry been infected, the playbook is clear: If even one chicken tests positive, the US requires farmers to kill the whole flock. There are no federal rules for dealing with sick mink.

Here’s something you should know about minks: They have lungs and airways remarkably similar on a cellular level to those of people. They’ve spread flus and infected humans before with COVID-19. Right now, bird flu is spreading on a Utah farm filled with thousands of them… 🧵

Good health has long been the cornerstone of good economies… so… you tell me what a politician that undermines health protection behaviours is…

RFK decided to once again target maskers in a speech, laughing about going to LA and seeing people driving in their cars while masked. And I want to make sure people know that studies have shown that the reason someone might wear a mask in their car is that it's none of your fucking business.

A Swedish study of over 1.2 million adults found that non-hospitalised people with diagnosed long COVID had a 14% higher risk of developing high blood pressure than those without long COVID. Researchers highlight the importance of cardiovascular follow-up and regular blood pressure monitoring.

The most important thing about this number is that it indicates the state of surveillance and reporting… which indirectly indicates our state of preparedness for the next pandemic.

With the exception of a handful of countries we responded very poorly. Many couldn’t help it due to resource issues… but many rich countries experienced panic in the leadership.

My god. This is 💔. Big humans are supposed to protect our little ones. But also, I can't wrap my head around the depravity of pediatric specialists everywhere, still pumping out papers blaming lockdown for everything while not even bothering to count & support these kids (see also #LongCOVIDKids).

UK: "I lost my dad and sister to COVID - I doubt care inquiry will bring change" The COVID inquiry found government failures in care settings allowed the virus to spread. Over 43,000 care home deaths involved COVID between March 2020 and July 2022. One woman lost her father and sister 5 days apart.

The problem with running a red light is that it is one of the deadliest high speed accidents you can do. You are going fast because you want to nip through the lights, and the other side may also be going fast because they were at full speed, hadn’t slowed down at all as the light went green while

they were still a distance away from the light and you get ploughed into at a combined spectacular pace. It’s flying car territory… if it involved a heavy vehicle it is absolutely OMG.

You won’t even get to the hospital, they have to scrape your remains into the coffin if you aren’t burnt to a crisp. It’s so not worth it.

October is Indoor Air Quality Awareness Month!  We spend 90% of our time indoors, yet clean indoor air remains overlooked in public health. Better ventilation, filtration, and evidence-based policies can change that. Clean indoor air should be a public health priority, not a privilege. #IAQ
