It's so sad lol for years I tried to be like "Look if you want more options and if you wanna be nicer to devs, supporting Epic Game Store is probably a good thing" and my reward for this was just Epic constantly kicking themselves in the dick.

Since it's October, you should totally check out the Halloween spinoff of Prototype N I've released 3 years ago, Diamond in the Grave. It's a short Halloween-themed campaign of 6 levels for about $5 on itch io! arrietty.itch.io/diamond-in-t...

If we're mutuals and you want one of these funny little icons of your fursona/character then drop the ref in the replies. They're so fun to make. I love working with such a small resolution. Completely free, and I don't expect anything in return. Just doing it for the love of the game.

I've been making little 150x150 icons for all my characters and I've compiled them into one large image. The first three rows are my OCs. Then my Pokemon, Ponies, my singular DnD character, and then my extremely outdated OCs that I made when I was like 10 years old that I added for fun. lmao #ocsky

Been really into calling randoms on websites "User" "This user is talking about some BULLSHIT in the comments of this video." "Other users have already told you why that isn't the case." "It's been pleasant talking with you, user."

"dont worry, we didn't use LLMs for real art, like writing, or graphics, or sound, we only used it for dumb gross useless basic shit like programming" always the funnest thing to read as a programmer, as someone whose whole career is based on code, whose handwritten library changed the industry etc

Today marks 27 years since I began Serebii! I truly cannot thank you enough for all your support as the site continues to grow and reach new heights. The fact that so many of you trust me daily really means the absolute world to me. #Serebii27

i've recently heard that some ai bros want to make an smw central alternative because we don't allow gen ai content on the site. here's my direct response to those people. "who owns rom hacking?" and other questions ai poisons us with shoujo.gay/who-owns-rom...

I made the right decision leaving the decomp community a whole ago bc even with this, ppl are still defending "good" use of LLMs while talking about slopcomps and the hypocrisy is palpable. If you allow use, you invite slopcomps. That's the rub AI users can't seem to ever deal with

Taka@takarikka.github.io

with the sunsetting of decomp.dev, people really need to come to terms with just how much damage vibecoders have done to our community and OSS in general. encounter is a fellow dusklight dev and friend, and seeing people treat him as replaceable in the scene is upsetting.

Replying to @sephdebusser.bsky.social

You reap what you sow as a community is all I'm saying. No hardline ban inevitably leads to this outcome. I'll just keep trucking on my own, bc even now checking back in it's still the AI bro haven that I left it

nothing like seeing someone go, "no AI" and then proceed to play Fortnite and im like, "this is like that comic i made"

when your friend says they wanna get chik-fil-a and you really have to stop yourself from going off on them and take relationship damage instead #mewdsart #sfw #meme #thesims

the "you can't avoid AI, it's in all software now" argument might be true for infrastructure, where we have limited agency over the platforms and systems that make up our society, but is hilariously untrue for video games, a completely optional and easily ignored part of all of our lives

Not about anyone in specific but I always find it strange whenever people post art on it's own. Like idk, you have nothing to say about this artwork you made? Not why you made it? Not what inspired it? Let us in on what's going on in that beautiful mind.
