Hyundai and Kia added official GrapheneOS support to their apps months before Volkswagen banned GrapheneOS: discuss.grapheneos.org/d/31697-myhy... Pressure from Volkswagen customers on them can achieve the same thing. There's no legitimate reason to ban GrapheneOS so they'll undo it with pressure.

Nuclear opinion: I donโ€™t care if you use AI to write code,ยน but making a human review a change before an LLM is disrespectful. Why am I catching your bugs if a computer could have done it? Itโ€™s like asking to review code that doesnโ€™t compile or pass CI. ยน As long as you do it responsibly.

Great episode. Inspiring and uplifting!

Colorado statewide snowpack has fully melted off, per latest NWCC data. That marks the earliest snowpack melt since 2018, and the 5th-earliest on record (since 1987). Itโ€™s also about two weeks earlier than average. This also fully opens the door for summer fire season. #COwx

The known cases of police using Flock to stalk people are almost certainly a vast underreporting of the overall abuse, because they largely include only cases in which the behavior was so egregious that it led to police officers being fired, arrested, or both.

NEW: The FCC wants to make it effectively impossible for people to buy what many call burner phonesโ€”a phone not explicitly linked to your identity at the point of purchaseโ€”which would impact privacy-conscious people, to domestic abuse survivors, to journalists, and many more.

Today I was detained by Smyrna Police for being interviewed across the street from Flock Safety's drone and camera manufacturing facility. The giant warehouse and office is branded as "DPR Construction" online and even has DPR logos, I suppose because Flock employee privacy is super important.

Hello. The moment you gate educational videos behind a paywall, a massive wall of bureaucracy goes up. Teachers have to beg administrators for budgets, companies have to wine-and-dine school boards, millions of students get locked out, and people get forced into using material they don't like.
