You're welcome to discuss things with me, and I'll try to be calm and as rational as I can be; however, there is no need for personal insults that are needlessly hurtful. If I wanted to be insulted, I wouldn't be on Bluesky, I'd be on Twitter. Let's make Bluesky better than that. #BeKind

All things have a start and an end.

Hot dang the vitamin B12 injection hurt like a mofo. Weird how sometimes you feel nothing, other times it hurts like hell. Used a longer/thicker needle today to avoid Saturday's moment of managing to miss the muscle when injecting.

😍🤣

Can't park there mate.

I find it a little odd that my air filter is so sensitive that I have to turn it off when I turn my humidifier on.

When it comes to UX, the backend has to be just every bit as good as the front end. A slow or latent database cannot be fixed by frontend code alone.

It's amazing how a little context changes things.

Ah, autocomplete, never change.

In terms of pure mechanics and electronics, humans are incredible machines.

My parents have a new family member. This is Mable.

About to go do a land survey (dimensions etc) of my garden in 71mph gusty wind. This might not end well.

I have so many questions.

Do you listen to the radio?

I think I've been very blinkered in the way I view serotonin; you can have debilitating low serotonin without being depressed. And that's very important to know and acknowledge.

It's weird that one of my MSF clocks hasn't switched to non-DST time yet. And My broadcast clock hasn't changed either - But the broadcast clock only syncs via bluetooth once a day by phone, usually around 10pm.

One thing I do really like about linux is being able to compile a file whilst it's running; the new executable gets a new inode whilst the old one can continue to reference the old code located at the old inode. Restart the app and the new inode is referenced, and launches the new code.

But where does the gas go?

I didn't manage to guess what all this work goes into!

Interesting choice of font there steam.

My persistent viewing of Dr Pimple Popper has paid off... Recognised a dilated pore of Weiner on my thigh, small but noticeable, and managed to extract and treat it before it got worse.

This is baby Scooby-Doo in real life.

Complaining on social media about datacentres is the very definition of irony. Double irony for writing on a piece of paper that was derived from wood that once stood in a forest.

I just love it when you do your vitamin b12 intramuscular injection and somehow miss the muscle. I need to use the longer needles but they always make me bleed. 🫠

If you look up "stolen valour" in the dictionary, there's just a picture of trump.

The clocks in my house are so well synchronised that when I watch the seconds tick by on my tablet I can hear the clock tick at the same time. All clocks are accurate to within one second.

Got to say, this year's celebrity traitors isn't even remotely as good as last year's. Mostly because the traitors are actually rubbish. That and no Alan Carr.

A problem with my steroids knocked me unconscious at about 5pm for about an hour. Woke up feeling like I've been run over. I've taken more steroids but the 4 hour activation time is a doozy. Could be far worse. Need to manage this better tomorrow.

Given how rural Scotland is, we should do this. Although there is a major stumbling block; ours would have to be in geostationary orbit, meaning much larger dishes, transmitters and recovers.

Well this is a new kind of insult. Divulge us all of your employment details to read an article? Excuse me but fuck no.

Of course they did. It should surprise me, it should shock me, but it really doesn't. www.propublica.org/article/cisa...

Hot tub. Cider. Drag race. What more could a girl want? #bubblesonbitches

I saw someone try to use Halloween as an excuse to deport asian British citizens today. I don't even begin to understand how they concocted that conclusion.
