From the Dems House Judiciary report:

Brandi Buchman@brandibuchman.bsky.social

Katie Johnson, 13, reported Epstein and Trump argued over who would take her virginity, and Epstein became angry and violently raped her when he learned that Donald Trump had done so. As shown by official FBI interview notes, Johnson, through her attorney, reported these alleged crimes to the FBI.

REA is amazing. I've already wrote Linux drivers for a photo printer I own. But it's also ridiculous that I'm on hour 4 of trying to figure out how to use the Wi-Fi lights I own the way I want to without a third party permission or being online all the time.

I just figured out I can have my local model run multiple tasks in parallel and use the same amount of energy to do all the tasks piss-poorly just like me. I think it's becoming human.

Look at the shabby state and increasingly authoritarian trajectory of the country and ask yourself if we can endure 2 more years of a lawless Trump administration wreaking havoc with no check from Congress, then vote accordingly. This is not the time for a protest vote or purity politics.

Pretty clear that Trump/Hegseth are doing everything they can to force Ukraine to surrender to Putin by withholding all US assistance while actively helping fund the Russian war machine to kill as many civilians as possible including kids. What a dark, evil chapter in US history.

I've been making some serious progress in coding with small local models. I'm calling Ornith 1.5 N.I., neurotic intelligence. It's good at writing code if you can stop it from second guessing itself all the time. Is this something middle managers that work with developers have to deal with?

No one wants or needs to keep that useless information in their heads anymore. Hell, my GPU doesn't even need to retain that knowledge anymore. It just loads it when it needs it. Locally.

It's kinda crazy to be writing this amount of code that's a little out of my skill range this quickly without a subscription to one of the bigger AI companies, but it's wild that can now make this entire project without even touching the Internet. That's something that I don't hear about.

I could totally code this project by "myself".I would just need about 100 tabs open because I keep forgetting some weird syntax or API call. It's like the old way of teaching history where you had to memorize a bunch of obscure days to pass a test.

My method does require a lot more mapping out of individual tasks into bite-sized chunks whereas the frontier models just kind of assume what you want and fill in the small details. But I also know exactly what my energy consumption is

I'm running an Nvidia Tesla P40 that averages about half the energy of the smallest space heater that's common (400w heater). I think that usage will be easily covered by two 200w solar panels, a battery and an inverter.

I had to set up a system where the model can only make 1 read on a file. If you just let it run free, it'll spend 8 hours reading the same 3 files over and over and eventually maybe write something half the time. I made it so it's blocked from reading files it already read until it writes something.

It's still a 50/50 chance it'll write something, but it only takes 3-10 minutes to figure that out now. That's a huge reduction in time and energy. It's nowhere near what the frontier models can do, but I'm committed to doing this one project entirely locally.

We are now allies with Russia. Trump is siding with Putin against the world. I'm telling you that this ends with us attacking Ukraine.

This is completely outrageous and disgusting. This must immediately be blocked by Congress and Trump should be impeached for this. The US is now funding Putin’s war machine as he murders civilians including children. We are lost as a country.

The money pit restaurant I would open as a billionaire would be the opposite of farm to table. What are the most unnatural flavors possible? Hiring top food scientists, giving a blank check and telling them to really explore the dark corners of the flavor latent space. I want to taste eternity.

the cheering after the completely nonsensical "let 'em take out Los Angeles, let 'em take out San Diego" is really one of those moments that perfectly crystalizes how these ghouls do not deserve pity nor rehabilitation into the body politic. Crush their movement and drive them from power forever.

I know that there's been a lot of talk about Russia's collapse, but I feel like Putin seizing rich Russians' money feels like the beginning of the end.

Trump wants to be the bride at every wedding (except Jr's) and the corpse at every memorial.

I believe this is the best bird's eye view of the Kennedy Center. Trump is determined to destroy this beautiful building because a former President's name is on it. If you don't hold him accountable for his actions (and other actions), We will all suffer in the end.

I've been trying Qwen 3.8 for about a week now, and I think it just sucks. It gets to the threshold of being useful, and then it just shits the bed. Why do people like this model? I don't get it.

Give me a break, this isn't about promoting public health. They want to restrict access to reproductive healthcare and intimidate women. This isn't just wrong, it's dangerous.

(1/3) Anti-abortion groups just got the EPA to test drinking water for abortion pills. Scientists say there’s no evidence this is a public health issue.

What 9/11 showed is that Osama bin Laden understood the US would tilt into madness after an attack. And we did everything possible to prove him right. We dishonored the dead, made our country crueler, and started wars that killed up to a million people. That should also be what we remember.

I feel like if Trump wanted to win the war against Iran, he could do it by attacking the trade ships between Iran and Russia. He won't. But I think it's a plausible path to victory.
