The thing about this Blu-Ray is that it’s an extremely simple release; it has a very lackluster menu with no special features besides the trailer; no language or subtitle alternatives from English; and the logo on the side of the cover was so awkwardly cropped I actually printed and glued on my own
As lame as all the above is, it ultimately doesn’t matter as long as I have this amazing movie on physical media at the ready for anytime, especially with Eric’s passing
I’m completely shellshocked and can barely even begin to think. Eric Bauza was always so sweet and encouraging to me in all the times we talked together, he’d leave such kind encouraging comments on my art and knew I loved his Daffy enough to sing happy birthday to me in his voice.
Eric Bauza wasn't just an incredible actor. He fought for all of us, for the preservation of art, to see that real art got to shine, even in the face of corporate greed. The importance of him using his platform and his voice for the betterment of art cannot be understated.
Goodnight, sir.
Since I moved to LA, it seemed like every career milestone I had, Bauza was there to cheer and celebrate alongside me. My first union job, my first professional record session where we shared the booth together, all the premieres and wrap parties and gatherings, he was like the MC of our lives...
I was absolutely taken aback this morning to hear about the passing of the supremely talented Eric Bauza.
He was an extremely versatile actor across multiple studios, and of all the post-Mel Blanc Looney Tunes actors, he was by far the one who captured the spirit the most.
He was also an icon amongst both Canadians and Filipinos.
On a more trivial note, he was one of the top talents I dreamt of working with on animated projects. Not just because of his incredible range, but we Canadians gotta stick together.
I mean, 46 years old.
This just…isn’t fair.
This year’s been full of bullshit but this will particularly take a long time for me to come to terms with.
My deepest condolences go to his loved ones.
You were gone way, WAY too soon, Eric.
RIP.
The first genuinely honest ad for generative AI I've ever seen, from Microsoft / CoPilot
A mediocre white guy sees his non-white colleague getting praised for good work, he asks AI to *literally copy it*, and then he gets all the praise instead:

Several years ago I tried to ride @nyaasu.bsky.social’s coattails when she was drawing Ghostbusters characters as dogs by doing the same with BTTF
This is based on an unfinished piece from those days

Even in general inactivity I wish people would keep their LinkedIn job statuses up to date because if they leave it as is it leads others to think they’ve been working a steady job at a branch of a company that shut down a year ago
‘Coyote vs. Acme’ has officially surpassed ‘Supergirl’ ($126M) worldwide, making it the summer’s highest-grossing film produced by Warner Bros.
But it’s distributor Ketchup Entertainment benefiting from its theatrical release.
Sometimes for a little ego boost I remind myself a part of my favourite sequence I’ve ever animated for TV got its own YouTube clip: m.youtube.com/watch?v=5-PQ...
