Hello! I am a political strategist from Pennsylvania whose biggest focus has been police accountability projects, healthcare access, and gender equity issues.
In my spare moments I am an open records researcher. I have cardiac issues and rely upon a service dog.
A new survey of 1,000 American adults found that the strongest supporters of transgender sports bans are not the people who admire women most: they are the people who hold the most hostile views about women.

Kansas Dem Sen. nominee Adam Hamilton on trans rights:
“I don’t think we should take a small group of people and bully them, pick on them, and hurt them. I understand one thing really clearly when it comes to transgender people, and that is Jesus told me I was to love my neighbor as I love myself”
There are people, even some trans people, who think that we can give up sports to appease bigots.
That if we give up on sports, this all goes away.
That is a lie.
I have reported on this for years, and EVERY state that passed a sports ban as a moderate compromise has gone on to pass worse.
“I think America is big enough for all of us. [JD Vance’s] view of America is small. It's small like him.”
A lot of money quotes in this @gregsargent.bsky.social interview with @abdulelsayed.bsky.social, but this is the best one in my view.
Ramaswamy has produced an attack ad weaponizing the rape of his opponent, Amy Acton, when she was 12 years old. It features Acton’s mother, who abandoned Acton after she was raped by her step-father, fleeing the state with her husband.
Here is the corporate money helping fund that ad.
By any sensible definition of mainstream, the students who broke windows and occupied Hind’s Hall have an infinitely more mainstream view on Israel than half the Democratic caucus
Unearthed footage of Vivek Ramaswamy mocking Amy Acton for being a survivor of childhood abuse:
"She has no vision other than to complain about what someone else did to her"
David Axelrod and David Brooks clutching their pearls because El-Sayed didn’t roll over for a racist is such a perfect example of America’s white guy politics that it would sound made up if you put it in a novel
"I Believed American Healthcare Was the Best in the World. Then I Did the Math"
Yale epidemiologist @Alison_Galvani anticipated a hefty price tag for Medicare for All. But she found that we are already paying more than enough right now to cover the cost of universal healthcare.
tommy did not get paid $250k to disrupt el-sayed's event. tommy's dad TIMMY's LLC was paid that amount. whether timmy gave tommy a cut is unknown at this point.
Huge follow-up reporting to my scoop: The Guardian confirmed America Next—the conservative nonprofit founded by Bobby Jindal that was offering students $ to disrupt El-Sayed events—paid a firm registered to Tommy Teepell’s dad Timmy $250k for “canvassing and influencer marketing” against El-Sayed.
JUST IN: The police shooting that killed 1-year-old Kohen Wiley as he sat in his mother’s lap in a Walmart parking lot in Senatobia, Miss., in June “was justified,” Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch’s office said on Monday.
Her office will not charge the white officer who shot the child.
SCOOP: 'Tommy' from the now-viral exchange with Abdul El-Sayed is Thomas Teepell, a former staffer for Republican Senator Josh Hawley with close ties to Christian Nationalist Sean Feucht. He's the son of a former Bobby Jindal staffer whose consultant work was instrumental in getting Hawley elected.
got a letter in the mail that says my medicaid insurance carrier is refusing to pay my wheelchair vendor for my wheelchair, even though they pre-approved the claim and deemed it medically necessary, because they claim i secretly have another insurance policy.
with what money, keystone first?
Megyn Kelly: "...this is probably a first for her. She's probably thrilled to be so admired because she clearly didn't grow up the incredibly beautiful one."
"She was subjected to a bewildering array of abuse, including multiple rapes by 3 separate men and beatings by numerous relatives.
“'If they execute Christa Pike, it will confirm that the death penalty is reserved not for the worst of the worst, but for the most damaged and vulnerable among us.'”
when he who shall not be named publicly announced he was filing a lawsuit against me, before i knew for how much or over what, Malcolm checked on me, and he did the same when the first article came out.
aaron bernstine should be without a job and without a moment’s peace.
this is not the first time republicans have maligned my friend for being Black or being queer - during a state house race i ran he came to launch a canvass for us. within a week the PA GOP was running ads saying we wanted to “turn our schools into philly”.
our bus driver just tried to turn the whole bus against a girl who i saw pay her fare, but the machine didn’t work properly, and i was like “that’s none of my business and we’ve all got places to be”. he ended up leaving her alone.
segregating disabled people doesn’t make
our care less expensive. it just makes it more palatable for institutions, including our own federal government, to purposefully allow us to die.
I swear to God if people don’t vote for Talarico because of this trans issue, I’m gonna be so fucking pissed off.
Quit being one-issue fucking voters.
maybe think about what YOU can do for your country for a fucking minute.
you don’t get your way, so you sabotage your allies?
How very MAGA.
