www.effect.website The examples on the effect landing page are sick! dang it i'm trying hard not to budge. i've already been through an rxjs phase...
www.gingerbill.org/article/2026... While reading this, I couldn’t help but think of how devs use AI today. It’s very common to see AI be the identity of a PR: - “Committed by Claude” - “Generated by Claude” - and sloppy PR description When the identity of a PR should instead be the work itself.

Really excited that this is out the door! Super proud of the work the team has done in the past year to get this complete. Excited for the future; API stuff is in full swing, more perf improvements, and more. Please give it a try!!!

Excellent talk from @mariozechner.at on coding agents, and "slowing the fuck down" www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rjfb... 18 minutes, this is a very good time investment (while your agent is coding for you of course ;-) If you prefer to read: mariozechner.at/posts/2026-0...

I usually hate my own writing and like how others write. Now, I'm seeing more people delegate their writing to AI (not coding). It's obvious, and not very good. It's made me like my own writing more.
This git diff reduced fast refresh times for my Next.js app by 700% take care not to preload all shiki languages 🙈 shiki.style/languages#bu... I love this library, but rehype-shiki's default here is unfortunate.

Been working on a new microsite to teach Next.js patterns, and I just published a new one: "Sharing data with Client Components" See how to use promises to keep your page unblocked so it can be rendered (or prerendered) as early as possible. Enjoy! next-16-recipes.vercel.app/sharing-data...

i'm highly enjoying using railway.app i think instead of starting with serverless, it would be good for many developers to start with Railway and then try serverless. i feel a lot more comfortable understanding the tradeoffs now
