I desperately need a new book obsession. I finished my Pratchett Reread this year (all the Discworld books IN ORDER) and that was amazing. And when I was reading "The Expanse," it was like an addiction. I once caught myself thinking: "If I finish 2 articles today, I'll have all of tomorrow to read!"

Currently debating whether I should try Dark Tower. I remember reading the first book and being bored, but it apparently gets much more epic later on, and I do generally like King's style. I'd love to finally read A Song of Ice and Fire but only if it's completed so... that probably won't happen.

I'm not even sure if I'm in the mood for fantasy or sci-fi or something else. I just want to disappear into another world again.

Nothing since then. I still read everyday but nothing lights up my brain. I should finish my "Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy" reread this week but... it gets kind of boring in the later books. I had hopes for "Wheel of Time" but, nope, could not get into (really liked the TV show).

I think that, unless all of my favorite bands are there, this might be my last festival. I'm no longer built for 10 hours straight (with lining up for entry) of standing and headbanging. I think I can handle 1 main band and 2 support acts max. My neck is fine but my back is killing me. Fuck I'm old.

15 minutes to wolf time.

Fuck that was good. Powerwolf puts on a hell of a show. Excellent crowd work. I will see them again, no matter in what arena. Still floating tbh. Fuuuuuuuuuck.

Pretty Maids was a nice change of pace before Loudness lived up to its name and gave everyone hearing damage. One more band, Angra, before Powerwolf.

Ok, 30 minutes to Powerwolf. Angra was great but I'm here for the wolves! Let's fucking goooooo!

Ok, ok, I'm less grouchy now. Once everyone stood up and the bass started to vibrate my internal organs, everything fell into place. No bruises but I am already half deaf so that's good. Hibria was a great choice for the first band.

The line for the men's room is roughly 10 times longer than for the ladies'. We really need more sisters in metal.

Hope people will at least stand up during the actual shows. This is really not my speed
