I'm such a big fan of the redemption arc of zoos. 150 years ago they were horrific inhumane places of torture and now they spearhead conservation efforts and wildlife education it's pretty sick

feels like a medieval king pulling up a yt video on the ipad while playing scrabble on my phone like asking a jester to summarise current affairs in a funny way while I exercise my mind by playing chess with a court eunich

me looking for more MOR hand cream in the free sample tube a friend gave me from her hotel room bc spending $11AUD on it would be silly

Looking in a completely empty tub of butter and thinking β€œI will not give up, I will discover more butter, within this completely butterless box”

when ur bad at smth it just means it will take u longer. give urself the grace & time to achieve the same result started Xmas present shopping in Oct vry slowly collecting a pile of presents. if I can't make decisions fast enough then I'll just start earlier. shopping is fun even if I'm bad at it

never buy anything while considering the crossed out price. consider how much you will enjoy the item regardless of the price paid.

im here to remind you that the monitor youre about to buy was not originally $250 before black friday. it was only $150 and they raised it, then marked it down… so you are in fact paying the same price you wouldve paid yesterday. happy black friday πŸ’œ

i threw out an old PC and i couldn't get the hard drive out so i poured a bunch of honey and maple syrup on it, stuffed a dead fish into it and then pissed and shit on it, so if my identity gets stolen i will know i still won

probably a Popcap game (they all hold a special place in my heart). Fun fact: Americans call them 'video games' due to the popularity of arcade machines & later, home/handheld consoles. I think it's similar with Japan. Countries that skipped out on arcades & consoles call them 1/2

'computer games' because for whatever reason they only got games by the time the home computer was popularised (eastern bloc, China, etc). China also had a ban on home consoles while I was growing up but handhelds were popular (esp the PSP), but those were called 'electronic games' instead.

getting told some song I like is Alan Wake 2 soundtrack or like he's a pirate or a movie trailer or whatever as if epic music does not exist separately outside of a visual medium is crazy . imagine doing photography and get told this would be a great background image for a whisper app post

Fox watched the snowfall, utterly captivated. She could watch forever, her mind drifting along with the snowflakes as they floated and fell with each whisper of wind. Well, maybe not for too long actually. She was getting pretty chilly and quite fancied curling up somewhere warm.

that baby's name is Louise Brown she's born in the UK and her parents also got her a baby brother via IVF also (I remember this off by heart from my encyclopaedia Britannica for kids like 20 years ago. not sure y)

I highly recommend the movie Joy: The Birth of IVF, which chronicles the research that lead to the birth of the world’s first IVF baby in 1978 Did you know that Canada’s first IVF baby was conceived & born in Vancouver in 1983?

they tried to find a cowboy and an astronaut who would actually hang out with each other but that also didn't work out

Existential Comics@existentialcomics.com

They tried to do live action remakes of some of the Pixar movies but they couldn't find any real life white ladies with an ass that fat, so they had to abandon the project.

one time I rented sims 2 from the local public library and a family came on it called Puck and Hermia and stuff (from Midsummer Nights Dreams). I'd like to think the game just Did That even though it probably should've come with the Landgraabs & the Goths etc
