woe, carbuncle be upon ye

ICly, truthful, but because of the unclear timeline I'm a little vague about it on a meta level.

Azer'li can be cuddly when he lets his guard down, but that doesn't happen often.

I had the original NES game when I was in elementary school. I have fond memories of it. The only mainline game I haven't played at least part of is XI, and that's just because I really don't want to play a super archaic MMO just for the story.

Only indirectly; Azer'li was not yet of age when the Calamity happened. But one of his sisters was wounded in the Battle of Carteanu and the merchant who used to bring him books never came back afterward.

Azer'li's Sapphire Carbuncle is larger that normal and particularly robust. She actively fights alongside Azer'li in battle, performing headbutts and kicks.

Azer'li invented a job! His Tactician is an Arcanist offtank. Big carbuncle, lots of shields and damage down debuffs.

For fanfic purposes everyone is whatever orientation makes sense in that specific story. In WoL!Azer'li's canon, Y'shtola is demisexual, Thancred thought he was straight until suddenly he wasn't, and Urianger refuses to conform (still uses he/him because friends misgendering him in cs is jarring.)

I made a guide to writing Urianger's distinct style of speech! I've had this in the works for a long time, and it's finally complete. archiveofourown.org/works/896370...

Imagine you summon a demon and you have the bound to your will but you can't actually tell them what to do because they only speak Italian.

This is my kitty. He was originally a temporary character until I unlocked Auri, but I got attached by the end of ARR. I don't know why I decided to make him blue.

No. Azer'li is only a couple of years older than the twins (he's not time bubbled, though, so he's like 22 for Dawntrail.) Urianger is entirely too old to be of interest. WoL!Azer'li decided on his own that he was dating G'raha, who is not my favorite NPC. (I don't dislike him, though. He's okay.)

I'm still not sure what the context is, but if someone thinks everyone in the fandom is straight, they REALLY don't know the fandom. archiveofourown.org/users/Paksar...

WE HAS THE LEARNS

I like my Elidibus/Urianger, but at this point I don't think there's any real canon backing, I just think it's neat (and have a couple of AUs, but no direct lorebending.) I'm still bummed that Urianger didn't really get to do much to foil him in 5.2-3, but he was busy with Eden, I guess?

while i have ffxiv on the brain. the original concept for zodiark - the elder primal known as gaia - was SO much cooler than what we got. like zodiark's base design is lacking sauce. gaia has SO much sauce.

There's significant overlap between Azer'li's canon job (Tactician ACN) and pre-EW Alphinaud's Academician ACN. There were without question carbuncle playdates. Tactician is more focused on damage prevention/crowd control compared to Academician healing, and Azer'li's Sapphire Carbuncle can tank.

To prepare your tea, simply fill the kettle with water, then turn up the temperature of your building to 212°

Please help bump this info. Some people pulled everything they could unredact from the files and made a database site of names, companies, and connections, etc. Site: epsteinexposed.com Epstein's black book had several numbers for... Steven Speilburg. And hundreds of others.

One of the best sf shows ever made, Babylon 5, is being released on YouTube by Beyond Infinity in collab w/ WB. And it's upscaled! One ep every few days. Seasons 3-4 are masterpieces, but if you've never seen the show, you can start now! youtu.be/Y235YEQstLo?...

with alt text, because everyone needs to be able to read this 😭

The 'No ICE in Minnesota' charity bundle is live on itch.io #GameBundle

I have some Ideas for a Tumblr/Livejournal like website designed for fandom, but I don't know how to code so it's just a heap of ideas right now.

Adding Alt-Text

My theory is that they missed some redactions on purpose. There are people working hard to archive the files in ways the government can't touch, like BitTorrent magnet shares. If hosting the Epstein files is a felony because it makes you a CSAM distributor, no one can host them safely.

Let's do this. www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtQ9...

I read sometime saying that generative AI can't create a childrens' alphabet poster. I have Copilot at work and had some downtime, so I decided to try it and the results are comedy gold. (This is why human artists are better.)

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good. Stay free

@kylenne.etheirys.social Sorry, I can't just reply to your post. l hope this gets through to you. Call the fire department if you still can't get out. They should be able to send someone out to help get a door open.

I can't respond to this post directly, so please do so on my behalf: tell the OP to call the fire department non-emergency number if they still can't get out.
