Teacher. Tired of a society that prioritizes “me, me, me!” and not “us”. Love the NJ Devils, reluctantly love the Blue Jays, and am far less angry over here. Debate and discussion are great, just come with facts and an open mind

I’ve posted so much political material for so long on the bad place that I had forgotten that sometimes you can just post some mundane information. On that note, I’m watching Midsommar for the first time. I hear it’s a lighthearted rom-com

The NHL has gone out of their way to kill a great game. They treat fans with abuse. If you need to watch a game - find a pirate network. If you find a pirate network share the links. Only a sucker would pay into this corporate abuse. Better yet support women's hockey. So much better.

Doug Ford has been in charge for 8 years and in that time he has been in one scandal after another, slowly eroding our healthcare and education, and absolutely nothing in that time has gotten better. Remind everyone you know, or have them explain to you how they have been doing since he’s been in

In the coming months, the Ford government will tell you they are looking after kids and that’s there’s no more money for schools but that didn’t stop him from blowing a billion dollars to get out of the Beer Store contract for an extra 9 months, or give everyone $200 in bribe money

Rogers is a garbage company and if Carney was going to do a major project for Canada it should be breaking up the telecom monopoly we suffer through. This is why people quietly pick up IPTV services, VPNs, and a slew of other means just to watch tv without going broke apple.news/AcmnJRHa9Rp6...

God help me I’ve been a Chargers fan since Doug Flutie went there in 2001. They are so demoralizing that I may need a new team. There’s no way they aren’t a tax write off for the Rams

School Budget 2025: $90,000 School Budget 2026: $51,000 Please remember this when Doug Ford and Paul Calandra try to tell you about the historic and unprecedented investments their government has made in education and how greedy teachers are always asking for more. #OntEd

"Ontarians are being told to buy local. They expect their government to do the same. Ontario teachers don't want to get ripped off buying paper from a US giant like Staples when local businesses can provide the same products. They want to support Ontario businesses, just like the rest of us."

For the Americans out there: Canadians thought after January 6th that no one would possibly vote for Trump again but then more than half of you voted for him. So no, we won’t come back to spend money there because every other one of you unleashed this garbage on Canada and the rest of the world

“Don’t forget about me!” screams the howler monkey Doug Ford as he continues to throw his faeces all over Ontario to remind everyone that he can, and will, be just as terrible as Danielle Smith

A reminder that Doug Ford isn’t giving elementary teachers $700 to help classrooms, he’s taking that from education leaving schools with even less money than last year and funneling that to his crony’s company

I would 100% support a law that says if any digital platform removes your access to media you paid for then they are required to refund you the entirety of the original purchase price. That would solve this whole thing in a hurry.

Staples (🇺🇸) is now open for some ON teachers. How do prices stack up against the TDSB supply centre for classroom basics? TDSB: $290.38 Staples: $668.98 Staples Teachers: $584.56 But Paul Calandra took over the TDSB claiming financial mismanagement and Doug Ford wants you to #BuyCanadian. #OntEd

The Ontario govt took $60M out of public education and handed it to Staples. Tomorrow, 80K elementary teachers each get $750 of the misappropriated money to buy overpriced classroom supplies at an 🇺🇸 corporation. Please remember this the next time Captain Canada tells you to #BuyCanadian. #OntEd

Just a reminder that when Trump is gone, so many people are going to try and distance themselves from what they have done, and it’s up to us to never ever let them live it down

Don’t be fooled by Scott Moe backing up Carney because he’s still a useless coward who thinks that taxing American booze (something they just shouldn’t be selling anyway) but then saying everything else is off the table is enough to fight back. Way to back Canada you loser

Lesson learned - when good people like Dolly Parton and Tim Curry die, people are understandably sad and post a lot of great things about them. When Mitch McConnell died everyone just pretends he’s still alive so they don’t have to try and make up nice things to say

Doug Ford should just cut a cheque right to Staples instead of pretending he’s helping teachers who otherwise would find much better deals and get more bang for their bucks. Everything he pretends to do right always comes with fine print

Thanks to Doug Ford and Paul Calandra, 80,000 elementary educators have to order classroom supplies from Staples this year instead of from their school boards. I decided to do a little comparison shopping for school supplies many of us will have to order over the course of a school year. 🧵 #OntEd

Conservatives call on government to release U.S. trade offer details - The Canadian Press. I am ok with this, because I think that Carney was going to give away the farm, but remember, 43% of Conservatives still think Carney should have made a deal so they are not the moral high ground here

Whatever the deal is to keep the orange pedophile happy, it doesn’t matter because if it’s American booze coming in I won’t drink it. If it’s American products I won’t buy it. If it’s a pipeline that will push climate change then I’ll oppose it with my vote

Just had my first dealing with an AI chatbot on the phone with a business. Trying to setup maintenance on my heat pumps. It was creepy and unnatural and I decided that I wasn’t going to use that company’s service

I know the icon at the end is part of the Walmart logo, but nowadays it feels more like an asterisk letting you know that conditions apply and the fineprint reminds you that no, you in fact, cannot do either of those things

24 hour news is the worst thing to ever happen to the news industry. Now it’s filled with opinions and click-bait articles that are not news and not worth looking at. My news app has less news in it than Bluesky does. That cannot be a good sign

If Andrew Tate is so alpha, why isn’t he currently leading the inmates at his detention centre instead of crying about how mean they are on social media?
