Daniel Sloss in the audience laughing at this joke. Previously he used the pervasiveness of rape culture as a talking point to build his own profile and go viral. Ah an absolute classic of the genre

Something I absolutely did not need today: The Oliver Twins embracing AI "art" and using it not only for this Kickstarter but a rendition of Dizzy so ghastly they've had to include a sign with his name on so we'll know it's him.

There's three: Trophy Wife (Bradley Whitford, Malin Ackerman, awful title) Go On (Matthew Perry) Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (Bradley Whitford AND Matthew Perry)

Everyone has a 1-2 season TV show they sorely miss and not enough people knew about that you are always praising the heavens about. What's yours?

Jokes on you - I'm renting. My landlord is going to be fucking furious when he finds out. Luckily he spends eleven months of the year in Dubai.

People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones, but congrats on buying a house, I guess

I hope being Seth McFarlane is less fun than it looks. Man gets to make his own Star Trek show, hang out with his childhood heroes, record albums of Muppet songs... Man just has the rest of us questioning our life choices.

Oh, the things I've missed while I was happily away at a games festival. I think the Doctor in Distress video was one part charity, one part for the lols, and one part ego. They're YouTubers, it's par for the course. I also think it's entirely harmless and doesn't matter.

(And I say this as someone who's made online content at various points in the past - of course there's an ego involved for anyone who tries to entertain in some form. It's disingenuous in the extreme to pretend you're just providing a service)

(a true headline might be "guy on podcast makes joke about how many comments there were from Harry Potter fans in a consultation process, relating to cable project which was obviously never going to go straight through area of natural beauty in national park"

For some reason people lose all critical judgment when interpreting jokes made by infrastructure people at conferences or on a podcast. This just isn't what happened.

Perez Hilton has said and done some truly vile things, and contributed to the mental health crises of others. Perez Hilton is going through something truly horrible that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy (okay, maybe on my WORST enemy). Both of those statements can be true.

I hope Sadie Sink has been paid way more than usual for the Spider-Man: Brand New Day press tour. Marvel doesn't want anyone discussing who she's playing, but they've sent her out to help a thousand interviewers fill seven minutes with nothing anyway.

The year is 1990. Doctor Who remains off the air, its future uncertain. Sylvester McCoy is the closest thing we have to a current Doctor. The year is 2026. Doctor Who remains off the air, its future uncertain. Sylvester McCoy is the closest thing we have to a current Doctor.

He was also in Sirens, a film I stayed up late to watch one time as a teenager. It was quite dull, which is strange considering how much of the screen time was given over to Elle Macpherson's breasts.
