I shared this with my family What do you think? It would be helpful if the social media companies admitted that overuse causes difficulties for children and lack of regulation of content is harmful. If one company took this on board they would completely capture the market for responsible families.

But what are Congress and elected representatives doing about it????

The President of the United States is threatening to commit war crimes and wipe out a "whole civilization" — all because he started a disastrous war of his own making and had no plan and no strategy for how to end it. This is abhorrent, and the American people do not support this.

Does the world really have to put up with this nonsense. DJT deliberately suggests war crimes and his Vice travelling to promote a Russian backed leader. Where will it end. Why don’t the American Congress and Senate stop the embarrassment their countrymen must be feeling.

Crazy that we hear about Train Drivers who get £60,000 a year for driving a train. But we never hear about the boss of Tesco who gets £30,000 a day and doesn't even pay tax in the UK. Or the £250m a day that the likes of Amazon, Vodafone, BP and Shell don't pay in tax.

45°C in the UK isn’t a disaster film - it’s a Met Office warning. This is what decades of fossil fuel lobbying, political cowardice & climate delay has led us to. This is why we urgently need a bolder Green Party - a party for the people and the planet. www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025...

theguardian.comUK temperatures of 45C may be possible in current climate, Met Office saysExperts say risk of 40C has almost trebled since 2000, with 50/50 chance of hitting that mark in next 12 years

They want Britain back - but is that post war Britain with rationing but simplicity and no technology, or pre- industrial Victorian Britain with serfs, or plague ridden 17c Britain, or 13c crusades, or pre 1066 before we were French. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Given the scientific evidence re the climate crisis, I would rather take all steps to minimise it and be later proved wrong than deny the sense of such steps and be proved wrong. The latter kills people, increases dislocation of people and is the epitome of stupidity.

I fear for the future health of US citizens but perhaps those with a bit of intelligence will find a way to vaccinate their children while the MAGA crowd wonder why their kids are sick. God bless America 🤷‍♂️

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem called Los Angeles a “city of criminals” and not a city of immigrants. But like its name, Los Angeles is a city of angels. We protect and look out for one another, especially the most vulnerable.

if white Americans didn’t want Mexicans in California maybe they should not have conquered California from Mexico and then spent 150 years building up an economy entirely dependent on the flow of people and goods across the border just a thought

Why is this not a bigger story? The deputy GRIFTER-in-CHIEF wants to rob new workers of their pension, give existing workers lower pay rises, while taking his glod plated MP pension in time. This is what Deform clowns voted for. To make themselves poorer birminghamunison.co.uk/2025/06/03/r...

Decline came with Cameron’s decision to have a referendum which MPs (of all parties) were not brave enough to support Remain because it was too obvious that it was the right choice. Since then the Cons have been fighting a losing battle with ineffective leadership and are now going down the drain.

Putting her stupidity, incompetence, arrogance and ineffectuality to the side, I've never been able to get over Badenough's put-on posh accent. It reminds me of how my mother used to answer the phone back in the 1970s!

Perhaps Taca Bell Leavitt should spend more time fact checking her boss and the US media rather than criticising one of the world’s most trusted news outlets. Ethnic cleansing by Nazis in WW2 not acceptable Ethnic cleansing by IDF in Gaza NOT acceptable

I for one and probably most of the world who live, love, struggle, care for others and die probably don’t want to hear anything else about Scump. Everything is selfish, mostly a lie and will not make anywhere in the world great. Get your act together USA before the UselesSArse does.

Another Reform councillor resigns who was not fit to stand. What a surprise. Need to continue to monitor the performance of those who remain. Sound bites do not get things done.

9 years ago I did a 5 day walking challenge with 3 mates. We had a topic of the day to discuss 1. Brexit - it lasted 5 minutes until they realised they had no come back to my arguments against. They are still friends but I have to be very careful what we discuss. Facts are irrelevant apparently.

The recent local elections had overall gain for Democratic (lab/lib/gr) parties right wing (RFUK/Con). I would support an alliance at the next GE as a first step towards PR. Get politicians discussing issues sensibly rather than “soundbitely” so that their decisions benefit the populace as a whole.

This woman is a disgrace and brings politicians into complete disrespect. No wonder the charlatans at Reform/UKIP/Brexit are taking their support - although they did spout the same nonsense.

Sad that as we approach VE Day the world is experiencing two wars of horrors in former British territories - Israel/Gaza and India/Pakistan - let’s try to celebrate peace rather than war.

Maitlis is spot on here. Reform is not a new party. Stop treating them as such. Ukip - Leave - Brexit - Reform. The same leader. The same ideas. Call them out on the damage they’ve done - the 5% hit on the economy, the 15% slump in trade, for broken Britain. www.globalplayer.com/podcasts/epi...
