So much for the "rule of law" and Article IV of the constitution. Federal agents can commit crimes in Blue states and then seek asylum in Red states to never face accountability. Abbot was also giddy to send his guard into Illinois. Fuck these corrupt fascists.

And the tech barons wonder why public sentiment is so firmly against them as they plot to control unimaginable sums and play these games of financial engineering to artificially boost profit. Their economic moat isn't nearly as impregnable as they imagine. www.wsj.com/tech/ai/anth...
Been really enjoying @newrepublic.com reporting this last year.
The shock of Trump’s 2024 victory led many commentators to conclude that his right-wing populist nationalism had touched a deep, authentic wellspring of sentiment in the American electorate. That might no longer be true. trib.al/ifvacYo

I still can't get over the fact that a Liberty grad with massive daddy issues who was probably knitting in chapel listening to Jerry Falwell 10 years ago and sees herself as a spiritual bride of Trump is one of the most powerful people in the country. We live in the dumbest timeline...

Amazing journalism. 100 journalists called, but this guy just drove down and talked to the owners. It pulls back the curtain to show how much of the movement was always grift, opportunism, and chicanery. slate.com/news-and-pol...

A bunch of Quislings so wrapped up in the game they can't see outside of Washington DC. This proves the fact that Susan Collins is once again always there when you don't need her. Cassidy et. al probably rationalized it as helping their other vulnerable senators.

There's going to be almost 500K more Michigan Democrat primary voters than GOP. I know it isn't a great indicator and the Dem Senate Primary was heated, but seems like a great indicator of enthusiasim. www.nbcnews.com/politics/202...

Let's go Paraguay. Such a historic performance and incredible moment for their country. www.aljazeera.com/sports/2026/...
The entire DOJ needs to be reformed. They should clean house when the next administration comes in. There should also be much stricter penalties enforced for Law Enforcement that lies.
Same office that covered up prosecutor's crimes in the Broadview Six case just covered up a police shooting. Feds said a teen beat up a cop before he's shot. They have clear video evidence showing the kid just squirmed away from him. They hid it from the judge. Judge just set a sanctions hearing.

Massie's going to lose, but I think that is good for Democrats all things considered. Let Trump get high on his own supply and nominate Paxton and be oblivious to how awful his polling is outside of GOP Primary voters. Trump's stink will be all over the ballot in November.
DDHQ Race Update (est. 49% in): Kentucky US House 4 Republican Primary Ed Gallrein (R): 32,884 (55.2%) Thomas Massie (R): 26,675 (44.8%) Follow more results here: votes.decisiondeskhq.com/races/251669
On average European countries get a new government every two years. The fact we have to live with Trump for 4 years shows how antiquated our system is. Trump is a feature, not a bug, of our system. Our system was designed to keep aristocratic elite in power against the majority.

The NY Times saves its harshest skepticism for progressives. Instead of being impressed by 3,000+ coordinated protests, NYT dismisses the value of “hitting a number” and asks if No Kings will be “a primal scream that fades into a whimper.” F off, NY Times. We'll defeat fascism w/o you. (Gift link)

Good speech. Seems like Democrats across the country are going to be campaigning with the message: Donnie boy ain't working for you and connecting all the chaos to affordability. That's what the polls are saying, but I also don't want Dems so beholden to the polls they lose authenticity.

It is concerning when over 50% of the net positive job creation is Health Care & Social Assistance. The combination of a K shaped economy and weak job market don't bode well for 2026. This doesn't seem to be the sign of a healthy economy.
Jobs continue to be added in health care and social assistance in January 2026 while the federal government experienced another set of losses. Manufacturing gained 5,000 jobs but is still down 83,000 jobs since last January. #EconSky
