Use reference. I’m serious. I get it that somehow you or someone convinced you that using reference is “cheating.” It’s not. You are just hindering yourself.

Yeah no offense, it’s not even going to tickle your nostalgia brain in the same way. Millenials are fed the same crap when we were kids, but it’s made with only corporate interests. To make an unreasonable amount of money. It visually and tonally feel like cardboard. Hollow. Like something new.

Me making my own food

I miss dumb sexy art of my ocs but my health has really made it impossible to sit down and do art for long periods of time for my own food

Ireland's artist basic income returned €1.39 for every €1 spent. They made it permanent. South Korea just announced plans to follow. Now Scotland too.

This is why Nostalgia bombing with Capitalist intent kills Creativity. Can we go back to a time where Dante shows up in a game because it was cool? Make a new Blade movie because people want vampires and not X-men with spiderman.

At this point, my feelings about my health are grim. My spoons are in the negatives, I want friends but can’t find the energy with how much pain I’m in. So I feel like I’m looking out the window while everyone else enjoys their life. All the meds do is make things clearer, and that scares me.

Thanks to unprecendented procrastination, I organized like 5 years of #aseprite scripts (to 50+ total). Mostly they're minor improvements but I can't work without most of them. Docs and formatting are low effort (no pics) but mention everything. Look for an aseprite section at 🌏 lampy.casa.

Arguably, #pixel_dailies itself is a form of a #MeetUp . I tried so hard to get everyone who had posted in the last 3 days for pixel dailies and that alone was a huge undertaking😅 I used silohettes for anyone I was unable to depict. I hope I got everyone💜 #ドット絵 #pixelart @pixeldailies.bsky.social
