I read a lot of fuss on the internet about 60hz vs 120hz for device screens. I’m pretty sure that I’ve got devices with both, but I don’t notice any difference between them. Is it something that any of you care about and can notice?

Started a very productive playtest of my romance story game, Road to Romance last night. We got half way through and hope to pick it up after Metatopia.

On Thursday, we'll prelaunch our latest game on Kickstarter. We've been calling it Alien Archaeology, but that's not the real name. We get to announce what it really is on Thursday. See you then.

Watched Goldeneye last night. I’d forgotten what a good entry to the Bond canon it was. A fine introduction for Brosnan and a real triumph for practical effects.

I playtested a version of this a year ago and had a lot of fun with it. There was a real sense of getting to grips with an alien language as the game progressed!

Alien Archaeology, a tabletop game of roleplay and translation, will release in early 2027. It's one of my favourite games I've worked on.

Yesterday I learned that new LLM Siri does a worse job at common Siri tasks I do all the time. plus ça change eh? Siri wasn’t great, but at least I could reliably say “play the rest is science on overcast” and it happened. Not any more, apparently.
