"The decision not to invite observers from the OSCE puts the U.S. alongside Russia and Belarus, while the Justice Department prepares to deploy its own poll monitors."

I work in Technology (Cyber Security) but received a degree in Fine Arts. I’ve always felt my background in the arts has made me a better technology professional that brings a different perspective than many of my peers. You can’t judge a degree on what you think its market value is.

Governor JB Pritzker@govpritzker.illinois.gov

How about the President focus on making higher education more affordable instead? College helps you take your dreams to the next level, whether that’s earning a degree in engineering, business, social work, or art for your future.

Folks, phishers have figured out rage bait. Got this today from "SendGrid HR". They're adding a trans youth message to my email footer this month. Don't want it? Just click the button to remove it. Sender is noreply@billkill.no Rage is the new urgency.

Arsonist burns down house, won’t allow it to be rebuilt unless their name is on it to acknowledge their efforts.

Shut up, Jeff Bezos, and your propaganda rag, the current Washington Post. The Kennedy Center is only in trouble because the lowbrow idiot Donald Trump and his stupid, uncultured minions interfered with it, driving away audiences. Adding his vulgar name will *guarantee* bankruptcy, not avoid it.

Thinking most American’s would choose a 5-minute walk over taking a car, even if it also took 5 minutes to drive, park and then walk 1 minute to the destination is the problem with this comparison.

A mama chimp at The Sedgwick County Zoo is despondent as her newborn baby was taken from her after birth to get oxygen at the vet for a few days. Here they are reunited. 😍🥹❤️

It’s so sad how far we’ve fallen in such a short time. From defending democracy to the school yard bully taking kids lunch money.

Please don't overreact to Roberts Court decision on the contemplated USPS ballot moves They simply held that the injunction came too early in the process, before there was a final rule👇 Now we HAVE a final rule & we will litigate it. I'm as confident in our arguments here as in any of our cases!

Can #Microsoft please talk to #Microsoft about Zero Trust?!? The Security side talks about how we should have separate privileged accounts with no mailboxes, etc. But if you want to set up Opal (Frontier) you need GA, Copilot, Intune & P1 assigned to the account. How in the world is that Zero Trust!

Microsoft says ClickFix was the #1 initial access method of 2025 — 47% of observed attacks. No exploit, no malicious attachment. The user pastes a command into the Run dialog and compromises themselves. So how do you detect a technique with no payload at the perimeter? 🧵

it's especially funny because demand for air conditioning is highest when solar irradiation is at its most intense and you know what also happens when solar irradiation is at its most intense? solar panel go brr

Faine Greenwood@faineg.com

When you start noticing it, it’s astonishing how many people who claim air conditioning is wasteful and extravagant would never, ever apply that logic to heating (which uses more resources than AC!)

If Elon Musk never makes a single penny more of income he would need to spend over $68 million A DAY for the rest of his life before he’d be out of money. No one needs that kind of wealth while children are starving and people are forced into bankruptcy to survive cancer (even with health insurance)

About 45% of pet ownership is walking by them and badly singing little songs that integrate their names. If you can’t do this, then I’m sorry, you are not ready for the responsibilities of owning a pet.

I don’t know who at Apple thought but the Delete Event button at the bottom of the screen where you need to swip up to exit, but my 80 year old mom keeps deleting appointments from her calendar because of that UI choice. Can we at least get an undo option on deletes in shared calendars?

Your Conditional Access policies probably have gaps you don't know about I talked to Emilien Socchi about how he built an engine that tests 250 MILLION sign-in combos in <20 minutes. Runs Offline. No Throttling. No Limits. Watch at entra.news/p/finding...

Apple iOS calendar UX is so horrible. Why would you put “Delete Event” at the very bottom right where you need to swipe up to exit the app, especially with no confirmation!?! My elderly mom keeps deleting doctors appointments from her calendar 🤬

easy slogan for the next democratic presidential candidate is “i will reform the corrupt supreme court and repeal citizens united”

Omar Wasow@owasow.bsky.social

“When Citizens United was decided in 2010, billionaires had spent $18 million on the 2000 election, $13M 2004 and $16M in 2008. Then came the deluge. In 2012 it was $231M, and nearly doubled again in next three election cycles —to $682M in 2016, $1.2 billion in 2020 and $2.6 billion in 2024.” Gift:

Is it just me or does anyone else feel like #Microsoft creates a service with minimal controls, makes it available to everyone in a tenant by default and then comes around after things are a mess to sell you a governance solution…which just happens to be Premium plan pricing?

We now live in a world where people use AI to generate content, pass that content to someone else who uses AI to summarize the content. AI’s real value is in identifying busy work and eliminating it.

We need a lot more of this! I’d love to take this curriculum to Senior Centers!

But you need the moderates to begin with. Overturning R v. W was decades long effort to move the needle. If you come out of the gate with Abolish ICE you are going to turn people off. Instead why not talk about containing and restraining ICE. Win and then make the big changes.

Willow@rockshrimp.bsky.social

Part of the reason the justices were able to deny it and maintain support was credulous coverage and the reassurance from the rest of the republican party that they were lying. We need the radicals and the moderates and the people who are radicals pretending to be moderates to do stuff.
