Shapiro: He rose to some prominence by writing a book about growing up in Appalachia, where there are a whole lot of people who get SNAP. He made millions of dollars off telling their stories, and then he turned his damn back on those very people he likes to write about and claim as his own.

Attorney General Bondi sent me a letter last week. It purports to notify me that Washington state “has been identified” as a “so-called sanctuary jurisdiction” — on grounds that her letter makes no effort whatsoever to explain.

Especially if you're on the fence about it, protest today. Fascism is isolating and lonely. Its very goal is to make you feel like you're the only person unwilling to accept a cult of personality. On days like today you fully realize there are more of us than there are them. You will feel better.

I may be tired and a little hoarse, but as I said again and again on the Senate floor, this is a moment where we cannot afford to be silent, when we must speak up.

Just so everybody understands, Booker has been speaking cogently about the issues the entire time and Strom Thurmond famously spent hours reading from the encyclopedia, because segregationists were and are dumbshits

If Sen. Cory Booker makes it to 7:19 p.m. EST, he will break segregationist Dixiecrat Strom Thurmond's record for his 24 hour 18 minute Senate floor speech against the Civil Rights Act of 1957.

The institutional Democratic Party is guided by an almost pathological level of conflict avoidance in almost every direction. “What can we do to make the least number of people mad?” is just a bankrupt way to operate.

Funny thing is... they really don't have any left, from what spotters and things have said, what they have left is "for parts only" hardware, so they had to find an alternative apparently.

BREAKING: Major upheaval at the Social Security Administration, as Acting Commissioner Lee Dudek announces the departure of two dozen senior staff, the consolidation of the agency's 10 regions into 4 regions, and headquarters consolidation. Background at Law Dork: www.lawdork.com/t/social-sec...

Yeah, so succinctly put, that one brain cell rattling around inside his head amusing him.

i'm stealing this from someone on twitter but the difference in body language here is due to the fact that both of these men are condemned to eternal damnation in the deepest circle of Hell but only Rubio realizes it

Ok Europe... I think its pretty clear we are going to do very stupid things for the next few years... hold us to account. Its going to take outside influence to get rid of our little fascist temper tantrum...

This is why you fight these cowards. The moment you stand up to them, they crumble. Homan has nothing. The Fourth Amendment is clear and I am well within my duties to educate people of their rights. He can threaten me with jail and call names all he wants. He’s got nothing else.

a stammering Tom Homan on AOC: "She's the dumbest congresswoman ever elected to Congress."

I'm so angry at these degenerate wannabe tyrants who are taking a sledgehammer to the rule of law, brick by brick. Is what's happening getting through to the average American? Do they care?

BREAKING: France, Germany, Poland, Italy, Spain & UK sign a joint statement vowing to protect Ukraine’s sovereignty & demanding a role in the peace talks. This is leadership. It’s also unprecedented. A western alliance is having to form against a new, twin & united threat: Trump & Putin.

Please remember something: if you had said a year ago that Trump would do even a fraction of these things, you would have been mocked, belittled, accused of “Trump derangement syndrome,” and dismissed by certain people. Identify those people and block and shun them.
