final fantasy 7 is arguably still the best game ever made. the first of the remake trilogy is up there, the second was a plastic corporate open world slog and im not looking forward to the third. I really dread yet again being put in the position of playing a padded, janky remake of part of ff7.

Around halfway done with #Sekiro, and I can confidently state that this is one of FromSoft's very best games. It feels like the platonic ideal of FS's game and world-building philosophy. It's close to supplanting Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3 as my favourite FS title. Yes, it's *that* good. #Sekliro

Cloud Strife is, since his inception in 1997, a hallmark of true strength confronted with false and vacuous power structures (Shinra, Sephiroth). One of the greatest fictional heroes of all time, whether genre or literary. Challenge me on this claim at your own peril. #FFVII #CloudStrife
