Republicans control every branch of government and what did they give you? Higher gas prices. Higher cost of living. Higher healthcare costs. Higher inflation.

Trump calls for Ilhan Omar to immediately resign & says, "please inform our great Speaker, James Michael Johnson that the Democrat Party has conceded her seat ... she will not be allowed to me a member of that body any longer" Trump's crowd in Iowa then starts chanting "Lock her up! Lock her up!"

Minneapolis became a role model to other states and cities for how to fight back, so he has to destroy them

Will Stancil@whstancil.bsky.social

I don’t really understand what Trump believes he’ll gain from his incessant authoritarian targeting of Minneapolis, minority groups who live in Minneapolis, and now Minneapolis’s congressional rep, but I wish he’d stop.

Donald Trump arguably represents the most egregious criminal in the history of the United States. It is difficult to conceive of anyone who has inflicted greater harm upon our nation. I contend that he has perpetrated virtually every conceivable crime

Ron Filipkowski@ronfilipkowski.bsky.social

Trump ran for president to give himself immunity from his many crimes, increase his net worth exponentially by obscenely profiting off the presidency, and ensure that he could get away with cheating on his taxes in the past, present and future. Oh, and to build a ballroom.

US garment workers helped pioneer multi-ethnic labor unions, which united people across racial, religious, gender, linguistic, and cultural divides. Also native-born citizens and immigrants. I think about that sometimes when I see people suggest such divides are unbridgeable.

I don’t understand why farmers need an endless series of welfare payments from the rest of us since Trump took office. Aren’t his policies working for you? You need us to pay you so you will keep voting for the guy who is failing you? Don’t you believe in free market capitalism?

25 years ago, one Republican president declared three countries an “axis of evil”. Another Republican president has now elevated America to be a part of it.

New in PN: The plot against Ukraine (and Europe) "Trump’s open effort to join nations like Iran & North Korea in aiding Putin’s murderous assault on Ukraine is nothing short of disastrous & will leave a lasting moral stain on the US. But there may be something of a silver lining to this dark cloud"

NEWSFLASH: the president CAN’T give himself a pardon The fact that he even is talking about it is an insult to our constitution & voters know it More on Trump, the midterms, and the staggering corruption on @MS.Now 👇

I honestly don’t know much about El-Sayed, but this is a perfect answer from him. It’s also hilarious that Tommy used to work for Josh Hawley and was paid 250k for influencer marketing AGAINST El-Sayed. They might want to get a refund. What a spectacular backfire. The walk of shame at the end. 🤣

Abdul El-Sayed@abdulelsayed.bsky.social

This is Tommy. Tommy had a question about my allegiances. Listen to the end to hear about his.

Tommy’s a former hawkey senate staffer. A plant, ie. Which goes a long way to explain gop incompetence

Kevin M. Kruse@kevinmkruse.bsky.social

As someone noted last night, it's like a heckler trying to throw off a comedian. The person on stage has probably dealt with this challenge before and workshopped a withering response, plus the crowd is already on his side. It's not a wise challenge.

Hecklers at Republican events get physically assaulted, while hecklers at Democratic ones get a civil exchange of views. And yet I'm pretty sure Tommy would've preferred the former this morning.

It doesn’t take a quiz whiz like @kenjennings.bsky.social to know 645 is wrong for Washington. Vote NO on 645. 🗳️ no645.com
