Van Hollen: "It's either murder from the first strike if their whole theory is wrong, and I think the weight of the legal opinion is they've concocted this ridiculous legal theory. But even if you accept it, then it is a war crime. I do believe the secretary of defense should be held accountable"

So who’s going sue CBS since they allegedly deceptively edited a 60 minutes interview with Trump to “further gaslight the American people ahead of the midterms.”? Trump got $16 M after suing CBS for allegedly deceptively editing a 60 minutes interview Kamala’s interview. apple.news/AAy25DXgATM2...

JUSTICE SOTOMAYOR: "They claimed there was more than those two factors - being Latino and speaking Spanish. They say it's because people are working in low-wage jobs." STEPHEN COLBERT: "So people with low-wage jobs have fewer protections?" AUDIENCE: "Boooooooooooooooooooo"

They all have short memory syndrome. They don’t want gun control but when something bad happens they blame it on the left. When they don’t get immune they blame the left for trying to control their lives. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink it. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Charlie Kirk’s assassination was horrific. That doesn’t change the fact that the vast majority of gun (and political) violence has been perpetuated by right wingers. You don’t get to change the narrative at will.

The U.S. government has become a neofascist regime run by a sociopath. Keeping it funded now is to participate in the most atrocious abuse of power in U.S. history. So I for one have decided that the best route is to shut the whole thing down.

Moskowitz on Mike Johnson: "If he was lying then, is he lying now? ... I don't think in the history of this country we've had a Speaker of the House say the president was an FBI informant ... we need to hear from the FBI."

Charlie Kirk called me a ‘lunatic’ and a ‘prostitute’ and demanded I be deported. Nothing, *nothing*, justifies killing him, or robbing his kids of their dad. We don’t know the identity or motive of the shooter but murder can *never* be the response to political disagreements.

Both of the co-founders of Turning Point USA died from things that were preventable, but which they mocked and urged this nation to ignore. Bill Montgomery was killed in 2020 by COVID and Charlie Kirk was killed in 2025 by gun violence.

I used to think trump was trying to distract from the Epstein files, but inflation is getting so bad, and his big ugly bill is such a disaster, it might be those too. America under trump is unaffordable. And 2026 is coming.

Rep. Adam Smith: "Look, it's pretty clear the president wants his own domestic police force and step by step he's trying to create it. We should be deeply alarmed by that regardless of how you feel about crime in DC or any other city ... it's a huge step toward an autocratic government."

Early reports that Russian and Syrian forces have fled Hama airbase. More consequences of Putin’s war in Ukraine - he’s overcommitting troops to try to make progress in Ukraine and leaving himself vulnerable elsewhere. Losing in two theaters at once is pretty impressive.

I’m starting to think that the longer we shield Trump voters from the worst economic outcomes, the worse things actually will get. Sometimes people just have to find out the hard way, sad as that is. Yes, we will suffer. But at least they will learn that elections do have consequences.

You are up to date.
