Oh shame on me, I should have read the book! I even seen it in my library several times! (Wildwood) I’ve even held off watching “The Wild Robot” because I wanted to read the book first.

Hey if you don’t want to accidentally get bamboozled by hiring someone who uses AI, give this directory a look. This is a vetted list of human artists of various genres. I’m on it too!

✨️Reference vs Art✨️ While we've used a lot of references to keep our dinosaurs as cartoony-realistic as possible, two mostly stick out: @twarda.bsky.social making clay models of Popoeilo the Azhdarchid and intro Lambeosaurus for the more tricky shots of the animated cutscenes in Zniw Adventure!

✨️Reference vs Art✨️ Because if you can, why not sew an makeshift robe and make a pope hat out of cardboard?

Meet Melvin Klein and Cattrina Paws, the secret identities of Mecha Maniac and Love Bomb! These two actually know each other personally and are well aware of their heroic and villainous escapades- it's a complicated rivalry/friendship(?). #illustration #ocart

Several weeks ago, Phil Tippett's legendary animation studio in Berkeley, CA closed. An anonymous hero noticed a folder of CDs. This turned out to be hundreds of unseen hi-res images and videos from Star Wars, Robocop, Jurassic Park, etc. ~90 isos for you to browse: archive.org/details/tipp...

This is your occasional reminder that generative "AI" in particular could have been developed on public domain materials and/or licensed and compensated works but the major players intentionally, methodically and systemically chose to steal labor from working creative folks instead

To put this in perspective chestnut trees used to be dominant species in the United States. Billions of trees were killed by fungal blight and now fully grown America chestnuts are functionally extinct. There is no getting them back. Ever. All for a data center. www.gadgetreview.com/one-of-ameri...

Saw this chap looking at the bottom shelf in the supermarket recently. He had everything, the shapes, angles, weight distribution, his expression. He didn’t move a muscle in the minute or so I was looking at him. Maybe he was stuck. Perhaps he’s still there. Pencil : W9cm x H10cm #peoplewatching

Proud to present my lifesize T. rex head, affectionately named Hannibal. I created this myself from start to finish- digital sculpture, resin 3D printing, painting, etc. Huge thanks to my friend @rj-palmer.com for instrumental crits and redlines during the sculpting process.
