Frustrating is an understatement when I work at a Title I school where 95% of our students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. These are the students who need our investment most.

I keep thinking I’m living in a Black Mirror episode, except it’s the one where the writers lost the plot and decided realism was optional. Every time I think, “Surely this is too ridiculous,” somehow it gets worse. At this point, I’m not even sure there’s anything left that could surprise us.
