Today is Publication Day! My book "Through the Bronze Mirror" is officially out! I'm deeply grateful to publisher @matchfactoryeds.bsky.social and editors RD Morgan and Snežana Žabić. The book offers speculative poems AND short stories that I wrote over the past (mumble, mumble) years.

Charlie Kirk emboldened hate by cloaking his beliefs as "Christian". Jesus embraced the marginalized. He was the opposite of Kirk. No Charlie should not have been murdered for his rhetoric. But he did embrace hate. And I won't martyr him.

Reaction online is predictably polarized. Reaction among the not-always-online people I tried to talk to was a unanimous, “who?” I’m still working through that.
