Maybe today is the day? Can you imagine the Halloween parties?

Trump speaks to small Corpus Christi crowd, repeatedly glitches and makes strange noises during speech where he also slurred heavily while his dentures seemed to be falling out Supercut:

MMW: Democrats won’t want to spend the political capital on restarting USAID, so will drag their feet until we force them to do so. This dragging of feet will end up costing us more political capital than just restarting it as if it never stopped in the first place.

she's a cop, she hates prosecuting powerful people. it's like their whole thing hope she slips in the shower

Kamala Harris: I think that going in the direction of impeachment is not a good idea. I was in the Senate for the last go-round, and the votes aren’t there. I think after the election, we all have to just also agree that our attitude has to be to get stuff done…

The AI industry is just capitalism further subsuming orientalist "traditional medicine" nonsense into the capitalist meat grinder. Now instead of random hucksters enriching themselves from their victims who may suffer and die, that fuckin' rizzless dweeb Dario Amodei becomes a trillionaire.

i think netflix's pivot to original content might have cost them everything in the long run, unintentionally. they never became a creative studio, just a weak, underfunded content farm that got squeezed as tight as possible to maximize the content delivery platform. their originals are trash, now

but because they tossed millions for content that inevitably spiralled in quality and even quantity so some middlers could squeeze more cash, they don't even have a big catalog anymore today. who's aching to rewatch a single netflix show or movie these days?

ofc, shoveling millions to the old studios didn't seem like the move at the time, either. tons of creatives got paid to make some genuinely cool stuff in the beginning, but now netflix feels a bit like the slummy studio on the corner that used to be big, but doesn't have a hit in it anymore

republicans are undermining elections, brunchistas are brunchin hoping they'll never have to actually do anything unpleasant, and in ten years we'll have camps for democrats because our opposition party thinks it's uncouth and uncivil to defend democracy

masked goons terrorizing immigrants and democrats in the streets; doj weaponized against political enemies; national guard still patrolling random blue cities; inert congress and opposition party; concentration camps popping up; no separation of powers remaining; questioning elections in advance

🚨🚨🚨 Q: Is there any scenario in which DOJ would try to block states from certifying the election? AG TODD BLANCHE: Yes, of course. It is not DOJ's intention to improperly interfere with elections or the state certification process, but ...

my grand theory of education is that private school and homeschool are hunting grounds for predators and abusers who want to treat children like personal property, and in a just world would be illegal in virtually all circumstances. civilization can't progress without integrated public education.

Who's an edgy boi?

Some are saying this is the dumbest article ever printed in the history of journalism

The Washington Post@washingtonpost.com

Michael Fusella supported President Trump for nearly a decade. But as the Iran war drags on and the cost of living continues to climb, the 21-year-old Republican said he feels betrayed by a president who said he’d end overseas conflicts and lower prices.

This is hilarious. I’m just thrilled you can use a computer. Please support trans children, free Palestine, fuck the police

Damn straight! This lib met President Eisenhower when I was 11.Given the circumstances of of our meeting he could have overreacted and had me punished,he did neither. He was understanding, firm but exceptionally kind.Even at 11, I recognized I was in the presence of greatness!Hegseth is no Eisenhower

wait a democrat is polling +3 in montana’s congressional race and he is a smokejumper that looks like this? why has no one told the thirsty masses?

This might get the libs to riot

Hey, just a humble, respectful request. For the love of fucking god, stop fucking attacking Donald Trump with blatant and repulsive homophobia. If you think going after fascists by calling them gay or producing AI slop of them in dresses or making out, you're part of the fucking problem.

i just think everyone should know that @thebulwark.com featured destiny, known csam peddler whose own violent ACTUAL nazi son he called simply "based," at the very same time sarah was on her "hasan is a scary evil muslim" crusade third way is a cancer on democracy

if Zohran Mamdani used the word "Shylock" the ADL would have called in a nuclear strike on New York City by now

Prem Thakker ツ@premthakker.bsky.social

The ADL finally chimes in… with one very short post: "The term 'Shylock' is rooted in a longstanding antisemitic stereotype. Regardless of intent, its use can reinforce harmful tropes about Jews and normalize language that has long been used to target the Jewish community."

garbage ass article from the ghostly memory of a profession we once held sacred every person involved with helping elon manipulate the price of his stocks with clear bullshit should be barred from calling themself a journalist. i suggest a new term: gummer. gummers aren't journalists.

LMAO, the institutional perverts are at it again. We have masked partisans shooting people in the streets, national guard waddling around random blue cities, new forever wars in the Middle East, a captured judicial and legislative branch, and active genocides happening both at home and abroad.

billionaires and genociders, now. Universities are dominated by middle management (admin) who exhuberantly spread 'em far and wide as soon as a fascist daddy came demanding a crackdown on their students. There is not one institution in the United States or the World that hasn't failed this moment.

Not a single "institution" has stood to stop this. Lawyers did not save us. Accountants didn't. Technocrat and experienced beuraucrats all got fired or resigned in protest. The opposition party is debating which minority group it's ok with sending to the gulag. The military has troops dying for
