You'd be working close to me, on the Interactive Learning feature: Basically, teach Grafana from within Grafana. I've wanted this for roughly a decade, it's been my main work focus since May 2025. It's fun, and impactful.

I had the great pleasure to give a presentation about our partnership with Google to offer Grafana for internal observability today at GrafanaCon with Katia Giarda from Google monitoring #GrafanaCon2026

There was a third image in this set, which appears to be an outpainted or cropped version of another image in the set, but has more visible issues from AI generation. See if you can spot them!

Nano Banana Pro also seems to be good at moving the camera when recreating images, which can add a false sense of authenticity to sets of images, for example:

this image was generated with google's latest nana banana pro tool. we have no idea how bad it is about to get.

🇯🇵 Introducing Grafana Labs Japan, a new subsidiary in Tokyo! Japan’s already been building incredible things with #Grafana, from JAXA’s lunar mission to DENSO’s smart factories. This expansion brings open observability closer to more innovators across the country: grafana.com/about/press/...

Tragic: Being the best person in the company at a job but it isn't your job and you don't want it to be so you just have to watch them fumble this

It kinda felt odd to have some many weirdly positive #quantum computing slop pieces recently... But maybe #nvidia just has data that implies the #ai bubble is about to burst? NB: if you click through, #reuters will think you're interested instead of laughing www.reuters.com/business/nvi...

More of this please. Co-designing play spaces with children and young people near their homes led to “what researchers say is the highest increase in children’s physical activity ever recorded by an intervention of its kind”

I've run into two instances of people using an #LLM to summarize text and then rely on, and in one case defend, the "conclusions" which #Gemini and #Copilot slopped up, and it's a good thing I'm stopped work early today.

Stop. Breathe. Listen. Say little. There is nothing you can say that will alter the course of this conversation to your benefit. Sign nothing in that meeting. Your former employer just became the adverse party; don't take legal advice from them.
