ICE has notified me of another death that has occurred in their custody. This is the 59th death under Trump’s second term. We cannot allow this to continue. We need justice for ICE’s abuse, and we must completely eliminate this broken for-profit system.

Horrific: “In one case, a 16-year-old girl had been sexually assaulted by a gang member in Honduras and feared that if she returned, she would be assaulted, kidnapped and enslaved by the gang. The court stated that those fears are ‘not a basis for protection in the U.S.’ and ordered her removal.”

This morning in Biddeford, Maine, a 26-year-old man said goodbye to his wife and daughter and left for work. Moments later he was dead, shot in the head by ICE agents, the second man ICE has killed in six days. ICE is killing our neighbors. ICE cannot be reformed. Abolish ICE.

Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was murdered by ICE. His three sons called him “El mundo entero” — the whole world. They watched as their whole world died in a video posted on Facebook. Lorenzo was our neighbor and fellow Texan. He deserves justice.
