Productivity as an adult is just an endless process of applying new psychological tricks and operant conditioning to yourself until an acceptable number of tasks are completed.

I’m excited to announce preorders for “Imperatives”—my first album under the Double Black Eye moniker. Imperatives was recorded with @beaunoise.bsky.social in July 2025 at Tiny Telephone Oakland, CA. It was one of the best musical experiences of my life, and I think it's my best work yet.

Everything is going to be alright in the end.

Hey, ya’ll. Well over 2 months ago I released my 6th album. I am super proud of it & though it’s a record that takes place in the Summer I think it would be perfect listening for this upcoming Fall. Hope you’ll check it out and tell a friend. phoneswithchords.bandcamp.com/album/high-u...

So, a few months ago, I asked myself “did I remember to pre-order the @perennialtheband.bsky.social album?” Apparently the answer was yes, not no.

Twice today I’ve put myself in a panic because I forgot I packed something in a “safe place” for the drive home.

lots of americans are talking about one anniversary today. but as one of the millions who struggle regularly with suicidal ideation i want to remind people they’re not alone and this day shouldn’t be forgotten

If you’re a long time follower of my music, like back to the Paperwork era, I strongly suggest you go to the Austin show. 👀
