The fact that Alice Weidel – co-leader of Germany's far-right extremists – calls Hitler a "communist" and compares Nazis to "leftish Palestinian" antisemites in ONE sentence epitomizes exactly the type of distorted discourse the liberal center in Germany has helped normalize over the past 15 months.

A poem by the slanderous bard Leigh Bell for Merrick Garland, our coward-in-chief, who belongs not in hell but wandering around outside, lost, hesitant, indecisive

Sometimes I think, "Compared to geological time, living things exist for only little blinks," but other times I think, "actually, life is one continuous chemical chain that first formed billions of years ago and every mountain range that existed back then has long since crumbled away to dust."

Democracy is not a prophecy; it is self-actuating. We must choose every day to continue this grand experiment. We must choose every day to accept the duty our forebears entrusted to us. We must choose every day to affirm the certainty of this legacy for future generations.

Doomers are worried people will shrug off videos of blue haired baristas getting clubbed, when what they’ll actually see is identifiable clergy, nuns, and rabbis staring down some military guys who Did Not Sign Up For This

something that is especially clear if you have studied colonialism a bit: a load bearing aspect of maintaining even a semblance of democracy (or defending a sitting autocracy from democracy) is having a military that is unwilling to kill its own citizens

Apparently there is an annual festival on a German island as part of which the island men beat women violently.

Dezember.

Germany will not arrest genocidal Netanyahu "because of its Nazi history", says Chancellor Olf Scholz. He forgot to add that Germany has no problem arresting Jews who dare oppose genocide. Is this also because of Germany's Nazi past? www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2... x.com/yanisvaroufa...
