Over the past two weeks, I’ve been following the attempts to smear the Jane Doe in the Cornell University gang rape case and redirect blame from the seven fraternity men onto her. As usual, this campaign is built on a mountain of lies and misogyny. spitfirenews.com/p/cornell-ja...

spitfirenews.comDebunking the smear campaign against the Cornell Jane DoeAuthorities, media outlets, and pundits are lying about this woman. But only her credibility is getting judged.

I’m so excited by this milestone. Today I got to send our artists their first Lume earnings statements and they got to see where their albums had sold all over the world. Best day.

Imagine running a conference for women in Aotearoa and inviting someone who has said he’s proud of his work in the TRUMP WHITEHOUSE as your keynote. F$&k this actually.

Your feed, their way! Feeds have always been one list, same for everybody who opens it. Today that changes - we've rebuilt feed ordering around layers, and any layer can be tuned to the person reading. Same feed, a different page for every reader. Live now for all feeds!

designing a new system for air travel where you earn badges for being good at airport and good at plane. badge holders get priority access. cannot book complex seats like row 1 without badges. lose badges for holding up security screening in any way.

In Massachusetts, we have a responsibility to protect the vulnerable and stand up for those who need it. We don’t throw trans kids under the bus for political points. We protect them—and all of our neighbors—because trans rights are human rights.

there is a blog post that says all of this but shorter I think it's reasonable to be mad at them not having a different policy, but "the tech companies should be in charge of which name gets used" is, imo, a policy with significant downsides! even if the official changes are stupid and bad

i feel like Reacher must smell pretty bad. dude doesn’t have a home, is always borrowing or stealing clothes, is always sweaty from fighting, and never showers.

If you’ve been holding off on trying Lume because you can’t find an artist you know, we’ve given everyone a free sampler. Try before you buy!

I am getting nervous for my trip to be an Erskine Fellow at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand. But I am preparing to be a #MicrobialEvangelist there! I am bringing stickers and buttons to hand out…1/2

Treating your speakers well isn't an afterthought. It's an essential part of a great conference. And it helps ensure you'll be able to keep running your conference in the future. An experienced speaker at many conferences, @sachajudd.com tells you how to do this: lilregie.com/blog/how-to-...

Here’s something extremely cool. If you’ve bought Fables’ Lume, we just added a whole new live set. Just more stuff. In the album you’ve already paid for. Like magic. When we say the world of an album we mean it.

Sure, Jared Leto is a creep with multiple allegations to his name over the course of two decades, but you have to understand that he's also a mediocre actor who's a nightmare to work with and whose movies are critical flops that don't make money.
